I cant reform because the game tells i havent selected all the doctrines, despite having done so.
What do i have to do precisely to fix this? (cant play the new version because steam refuses to download it.)

Got around to fix it, but sadly the game wouldn't allow me to update this one, so it had be a completely new mod.
But the new one is also compatible with most big mods!

@Mr. Ouija is indeed correct, all mods that had two descriptor files in the zip stopped working after the recent update and work completely fine once you delete one of the.

@Orrie Somehow the archive contains 2 descriptor.mod files. Unzip, repack, and it's working fine again.

Erzats is an option from Uncle Moff, take the zip archive of the mod, open it, select three folders, and drop it into the game folder, with the replacement of files ... Profit!

Whenever I download the compatibility version is says it's an unknown format or damaged. Doesn't look like the link in the description works anymore.

If you want to use it with other mods, download the mod through the link in the description. Only way to make a compatible version, as the workshop uploader fucks up the dependencies settings when uploading.

I just ran a test, and I was able to reform with 6 slots.
Send me a savegame so I can test it, otherwise I have no idea what's causing it.

Just add the contents of the file inside the HIP mod. It won't replace anything nor would it cause HIP to crash.

I just reformed the Hellenic religion with 6 doctrines, everything is working just fine.
