I'm a fan of reading up on conflict and war in general.

Not the 'Jingoist' fan, more the 'Historian' sort of fascination.

The sides of the conflict, the people, the politics, the ideologies, the technology, the tactics, the failures, the victories, the shortcomings, the incompetence, the genius, that sort of lot.

seen before. It's the roaring twenties. Certainly there can't be another war so disastrous.... Right?
