Thank you for making this mod, I was wondering if you are still willing to add compatibility patches to it? I use EvolvedOrgansRedux, and one of the implants it adds is a secondary heart which works as you would expect, I was wondering if you could add a patch to this for the mod so pawns would still have a pulse and not get the "No Pulse" effect even if their primary heart was gone, as the secondary heart would keep them going.

@Proximo <RecipeDef Abstract="True" Name="SurgeryFlesh"> in Recipes_Surgery_Comatose overwrites the vanilla def by redefining it. To prevent future incompatibility issues with other mods/future updates to the base game you'd likely want to remove it.

Shouldn't affect the mod or need any other changes besides removal of the def as vanilla defines it the same way.

If that is a fan update based on the life support from Questionable Ethics it will probably still use the same way to indicate life support is active (same name of buff). If thats the case it will still work. Try it and tell us if you don't mind?

@Ninjack_Aus there is no reason not to. Can also be safely removed as long as noone is under the influence of artificial coma and you don't need it's function otherwise.

Right. My error June, steam requires to tell it what mods (from steam) are required. I removed the original death rattle (by worldmule) for now and added the inofficial version. Will change it back as soon as the original is updated.

I'm a bit confused here, it says that it's not compatible without death rattle, but Death Rattle hasn't been updated yet... So does that mean I can use this version for now, or are people finding other ways around it?

...sure. Wasn't expecting the need to make it compatible for 1.0 again, but i guess people want to continue playing their worlds. So i made a github version and add 1.0 compatibelity back in.

Well ok, i have uploaded it here now too. It's basicly the same then the inofficial one and its still based on the inofficial 'Death Rattle'. I just cleaned up the 1.0 compatibelity because starting with 1.1 the way version management is done is way different. Also i will look into the compatibelity with 'life support' and perhaps change it so that the default vitals monitor does the same then the life support system (it would make more sense to support it that way i guess)

This mod shouldn't allow Misc. Robots/mechanoids to undergo the Artificial Coma operation.

My Artificial Coma health entry disappeared for some reason. Now I can't do life support. I'm not sure why it vanished, but I'm looking into it.

Hey just a minor thing you may want to consider changing is that in Recipes_Surgery_Misc you define the SurgeryFlesh Def which is unnecessary as it's already defined in the base game, and spits out yellow incompatibility errors with those that use AllYourBases.

If one of your colonists goes into a coma while stopped as a caravan and then you want to reform the caravan it becomes impossible to form a caravan.

It is impossible to load the pawn into a pod launcher thus your only course of action is to leave a pawn in a coma on the tile. Essentially killing him outright.

@Proximo Actually I think the problem was that I had two Death Rattle mods. Removing one seemed to deal with the problem.

Wait, that might have been another mod that had two copies...

If this comes up again, I will let you know.

Yes @Lumi MercuryDoll . If Life Support is used, all death rattle effects (except IntestinalFailure) slowly get better but will not be removed. Like, for example, dialysis or heart-lung machine.

What compatibility does it exactly add with Questionable Ethics? I assume you mean the Life Support system?
