Also, if you get the Civ V SDK (which was free when i got it), you can edit any maps, including mine. There is a remove resources options & a randomize option. This will let you play the map privately.
I made fixed resource maps to try and focus the starting locations. I like to regionalize resources on the fixed maps, which is what you have noticed & some resources are very abundant - especially in the tundra (to make it more usable). I did include randomized maps in my upload. If you see the suffix FR, it means fixed resources; if you see the Suffix RR, it means Random resources.
Thank You for your comments. I am not very good with the technical side of things, but I like making maps.
1st - when playing with the Advanced Startup Mod, your maps do not show up at all (#2 and #3 are only if you are trying to use this mod with that one)
2nd - to use the maps on Linux, you have to rename the files to all lowercase letters AND remove the spaces in them AND move them into the maps directory
3rd - to use the maps on Windows, you have to remove the spaces in them AND move them into the maps directory
the mod folder is located in your steam directory under userdata, NOT in the game's steam folder, maps are in the game directory under assets
I am loving the Greyhawk map at this time, thanks again for these great maps! I'm sorry the Adv Startup mod was not designed to work with map mods (apparently). I'll be putting a comment there as well.
As far as evangeleon, no. In Frank Herbert's Dune books, there is a prison planet where the only Iron is at the site of a meteor impact. My map started that way, but evolved into this map. I was also thinking of the Wormwood effect (Revelations) in placing the fallout over the glow dust. My daughter is a big Anime fan & also mentioned that this map reminded her of Evangeleon.

The map names are:
1) Greyhawk from Dungeons & Dragons edition one; is the large land mass without circumnavigation.
2) Triple Impact has the long impact crater from south to north & 2 smaller craters to the right.
3) Riverworld from Jose Farmers Novels has the continous waterway.
4) Enoch's Ascent has the two large contenents
5) Sploosh has the circular craters.
6) Splatter is the inverse of the Sploosh map
I remember the Yet another earth Mods, but never subscribed and never learned the acronym. Thanks for letting me know. I've never been able to get more than 22 Civs. I have seen mods with 40 Civs & 5 City States - but have not played them.
I like to play 3 games on each map before I publish. It helps balance it out. I am afraid I do not know what YNAEMP stands for? I am always happy to play new maps, but I have am not sure how I would test an unpublished map unless it was my own.

I was inspired because of just how uninspired the Crater Map is in base-game, yet you took the idea I had been thinking up and made it nearly perfect. Brilliantly done man
