Yeah you gotta make sure you aren't using this when your research is about to be finished as it hard locks you as qqa said. There's no way to close either the search menu or the research menu and you're just forced to reload from your last save by forcibly restarting Rimworld. Mod seems to be abandoned so its likely this won't ever be fixed.

Get this mod if u want to lose game progress. If you have the mod open and the research screen opens, there's no way to close either of them. I had to force quit the game and lost some of my game progress because I did not save the game.

Can't see a way to change key binding.

The research finished screen popped up during search, I could not escape from either menu and had to force quit the game.

hi rixmorld, ive been using this mod, and inventory tab mod and some other searching mods, and they seem to work nicely together in my game. each one has something cool about it, and maybe inventory mod can help you for pawn inventories

How to search items that are in inventories of a pawn?

Have been using this all along with 1.0 but today, I can't generate a world or load a previous save. No idea why, but this is the mod that I disabled and got the game to work again. Damn shame.

How do you search? I pressed Z and did not get a window.

Was a huge pain in the ass and with only moderate c# knowledge and 2019 visual studio refusing to install. Took like 8 hours to sort out all the problems so I hope you guys appreciate it.

maybe it was actually updated to 1.1 (when it was in test) and now 1.1 is on a newer/updated version (which also needs some tweaking to fix)

Using the WTF (Where to Find) function in RimQoL in the meantime. It's less fancy but it's functional.

Does the search find items that are in caravan pack animals?

Mostra na tela inicial que esse mod entra em conflito com o mod Remote Tech, por causa de ambos usarem a tecla Z. Não iniciei um jogo com ambos para saber se realmente daria alguma interferência na prática.

Possible bug. I was doing a search and a research project finished while I was searching. I could not close either screen and got stuck. Again, not sure if it was a glitch, but just wanted to let you know.

Would it be possible to make the text field have focus by default when you open the search? At the moment, you hit 'z' and then have to click in the text field before you can start typing...

is there any way to bind keys for anything, but using 2 keys at the same time?
like Shift + someting, or control + something?

Rebinding the key is done in the key bindings options.
