You sort of can do it in TWW3, you need the console command mod for this dan then type in vassal2, an then first select a settlement you own and then a settlement of the only wou want to be a vasal of, but i hope there will be a mod for it too then it would be much easyer to do

make this mod to let you to be accepted by other nations if you have very high reliability and if you break the pact, then your faction will go on low reliability. you can exploit this and break the game immersion.

I really like the idea of this mod, but (at least for me) the master does not share vision with me as a vassal, which sucks.

So, a friend and I are trying this mod with a Norsca/Chaos Playthrough.. but you cannot offer yourself as a Vassal to Chaos for some reason.. I click the buttons but nothing happens

After becoming a vassal, there is no peace with other factions. Does not include the host's provinces in tasks. In such conditions, it makes no sense to be a vassal.

There is a problem with the mod. When the master make peace with a faction, it does not automatically peace our faction with them as well, and since negotiation is disabled with them, it is impossible to peace with them.

This is the kind of thing head to head needs, can beat your friend then have a coop game with them as your vassal

Hey could you consider making a mod which makes it impossible for vassals to break away from you? This is due to a campaign that whenever I load my vassals just breaks away for no reason this even happens when loading back from a battle.
If however there is a fix to this, that would also be great!

welp. this mod died... it just doesn't work with tested condition (kr, eng language UI / only this mod and UIMF / mortal and vortex). let me know which condition make this mod works :/ I wonder rlly.

@Lumiere You must be at war with everyone your master was at war with. Any new wars started by your master will give you the option to join or not, if you say no you declare a war of independence. You pay your master tribute each turn. You cannot do diplomacy with other nations except trade deals.

What is the effect of becoming a vassal? How is it mechanically different for a player to be a vassal than be a free faction? Can you not do diplomacy? Is it all decided by the master faction? Do you lose money every round to pay your vassal dues?
