even though it appears outdated, it still works last time I played. Happens with a ton of mods, just gotta try them to see if they actually work. This is ridiculously OP for the cost though, and causes your fleet power on it to reset to 0 if it goes too high with really good tech and repeatables.

I like your standalone ships. You should look into a stand alone Arquitens Class ship from Star Wars.

I disagree with Razial, and preferred the older solid-green Arcadia. It's a classic look, partly because it isn't made up out of overly detailed bits. It did look like a painted scale model. I've noticed the A-mod model changing the skin recently. Not a real problem, just unnecessary and better the way it was.

Razial: I know that movie, I think I forgot to reply to you, sorry! but for now, I have to plans to create that one due to the following reasons:
1st: I dont have a 3d model of that.
2nd: I could create one myself but that will take ALOT of time and that I dont have much due to real-life things.
3rd: Properly mapping the textures. I have little exp in terms of UV mapping.

If you can provide a 3d model of it that already has a texture, Im willing to put it ingame with the stats you want. But for now, most likely not.

@Mole204: I decided to just add another section for Bow, Mid1, and Stern, so you'll have a choice of 1xXL or 3xXL and also reduce the dmg of the custom weapon by 1k min/max. Do take note that that all XL slot can equip the custom weapon so with this updated, you can end up having a much powerful ship but if you dont want that, self control and dont use the custom weapon.

Oh and the AI will not build this. ship_sizes dont accept ai_weight command.

Do you mean use the rotating turrets visually? I never noticed that if it did, sorry. On a good view it's a small ship surrounded by shields, lights, and explosions. (great for soloing 50 other ships! :D ) On a bad view it's somewhere in a cloud of other ships with beams, lights, and explosions surrounding it, and is sometimes noclipping inside other ships and starbases, all on Fastest. :) Don't nerf what's useful just to make it look fancy. It's up against all the _other_ modpack add-ons as well. If I wanted something "less overpowered" then I would simply choose not to install the Arcadia shipset and it's lovely weapons at all. I think you should just restore it. Perhaps a -A or -B? A Death Shadow version? Oh, I've noticed that while the Arcadia is available to the AI, the player (me) is the only one who ever builds any.

Mole204: I see your point but the main reason I combined the 3 slots into one is to allow them to use the rotating turrets.

What I can do is make it 2x XL slot each section then reduce the damage of the custom weapon by 1k but remove the -shield modifier or reduce it to -10% or -20%.

It will be a middle ground of 3 slot x 3 section and 1 slot x 3 section. And those new turret will not use the rotating turret but will be invisible.

The lances were upgradeable to 2,000, but a player could choose them or the mega cannons, depending on need. The SBA doesn't look that good in comparison. And, adapting calculation difficulty for a program that won't stay still, I assumed that different cannons could target different enemy ships- 3 destroy the first target, the rest target the next ship before the cooldown ends, etc. The Arcadia is a Crisis fighter ship, and the new SBA gun actually hurts it's usefulness. I knew there wasn't that much difference between the current-new and old numbers, not calculating the shield minuses, but change for no sake is annoying.

Mole204: The total power output of the 3 particle lance II is 6000. 1 lance power is 800 minimum with a maximum of 2000. so if 3, then it;'s 6k per-section so that's 18k on the whole ship.

My custom 1 slot component has a power of 2114 minimum and a maximum of 4814. so Mine is lower than the vanilla by 1.2k.

I basically just merge all 3 slot into one then copied the Particle lance 1 and and an additional power of 300. (Particle Lance 1 = 600 minimum -1500 maximum then x3 it so 1800 minimum and 4500 maximum)

So inshort, the new update basically lowers the overall fleet power of the arcadia. You can check the stellaris wiki for the Energy lances if you like.

Too overpowered? Not when you limit yourself to one, maybe three. Your tactics change when you have to prevent your megastructure-cost empire destroying ships from being destroyed. I liked it the way it was before. That row of particle lances. I love this mod and it greatly adds to my enjoyment of the game, and I thank you for taking the time to recreate such a classic piece of inspirational fiction, and keep it functioning against Paradox's intentional mod-disrupting. But I preferred the previous component setup. Keep the one-gun setups to SB Yamato.

@everyone: This ship is currently under reworked. Im in the process of making the 3 main turret separated and rotatable. This means the current component slots llike the 3x3 XL gun on each slot will be removed and will be change into 1x3 custom slot just like the sb yamato to allow them use the new turret model.

if all things work out, once the update is posted, your arcadia will suddenly be not working and will have to refitted fully (by doing a full refit: New design -> Click Arcadia) on your current save game.

bearsdenfd: I dont see any major changes to the upkeep and ship codes. This should work fine even if the launcher says not compatible.
