as previous poster said, electric braziers do not actually count as braziers for the purpose of a throne room

For some reason the Electric Braziers do not count for my throne room. Any ideas why?

First off, love the idea and darklights are a great touch. Now my troglodytes need not be luddites too! \^.^/

There's another mod that hides cords- so your ceiling lights won't show up. :\
Any way you could add a texture for the overhead lights?
(maybe a really basic circle or square with low opacity just so the power cord isn't the only way to see them- making it optional would be great too, but that's gravy)

I'm working on getting that done! The wall lights use a custom assembly to actually attach the walls; that's a bit beyond my skills. But I think I've figured out how to let them layer over other objects!

Yep. For the other mods, it's as if the lights are actually on a completely separate layer/plane.
Put a wall light up, then put another item (Research bench,etc..) right up against the same wall.
Put a ceiling light up, and put a chair/bed/whatever right under it in the same spot.

By placing anything under them, do you mean something along the lines of tables and such?

Issue (Unless it's due to one of many other mods).
Ceiling lights don't seem to actually be on the ceiling , i.e. can't place anything "under" them. Pretty much the same issue with the wall lights, and one might argue the same with path lights.

The mod "Ceiling Lights" by Neceros did this correctly, but didn't have Darklights :(
"Wall lights" by Murmur also does the wall lights correctly. I'll just use this for now as they have working wall darklights that don't interfere with placeables.

It's an odd conflict when you have two mods that add wall, ceiling, or floor lights -- they tend to be named the same, so the textures will overwrite each other. Same thing happened with Glass+Lights. I'd change the names of these to something unique, but I don't want to break the game for everyone who uses it :cq2sad:

Try changing the load order to put this one either before or after the other mod?

this mod is conflicting with something, vanilla textures expanded maybe? they dont look like how they are shown to appear and i have the option to change their graphics between a few different lamps but none are the way they look in this mod by default

Thanks for adding darklights! I have severe gaming ocd, so do you know if it would possible for me to remove the sprite for lamps, similar to the ceiling light mod without bricking the mod?

FYI - the lamps in this mod inherit the properties of the standard Standing Lamp, so you need to have researched that before you can make these.

I did the same with both mods even going as far as to disable the other one but no luck. But if I go into god mode it shows up just fine.

It may be possible you have another mod that also adds lights with similar names, and it's overwriting these with their requirements. It has the same odd interaction with Glass+Lights. Try moving this one higher or lower in the mod load order, see what happens.

I'm thinking something changed and now I need to do the colored lights research cause if I enable god mode all of the lights show up for construction. So the game is definitely seeing them.

I have no idea -- I've never had a problem with them showing up. Keep in mind, like the description says, *I did not make this mod*. I just made it usable in 1.0.

Or do I need the research for the normal ceiling light to appear as well? I see the path lights but not the wall or ceiling light.

The lights don't show up in the furniture menu. And I don't see anything in the log that even mentions the mod or anything close to it. Might it need an update again for some reason?

cool mod :) combos the wall lights + floor lamps i used. would be neat if it could have color additions when you unlock color lights!
