using the og model would not look very good with the improved graphics, this is perfect.

As cool as this addon is, im surprised nobody has tried importing HL1 assets into this game. instead of making it look like the headcrab from HL1. MAKE IT the headcrab from HL1. It would be cool if that was a thing.

I think it would be better if the legs were embedded into the torso on zombies, and if the colors were more accurate

xcrazydave try putting the VPK in the BMS COSTUM folder, there is a tutorial in the classic juniez weapons addon.
This method fixes bugs when you still have problems subscribing to addons, it's what helped me with other mods.

this looks more accurate than Brain Dead's headcrab

fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkkkkk now it does not work. this time, nothing i does makes it work. i tried everything. restarting, shutting down, deleting and reinstalling my addons and restarting, its so irrritating. i fucking hate the bm headcrab, its so out of place. can anyone help me with this?

nvm restarting my computer did the trick!
now it works correctly.

guys i need your help. this addon was working just fine before but when i loaded a map called zombie survivalist the zombies worked fine but the headcrabs were the normal ones. when i continued my save in office complex, i noticed that the headcrab model was the normal hl2 one. no matter what i do i can never get this addon to work. can anyone help me with this? because i really dont like how black mesa just used the hl2 headcrab model and it looks really out of place with my other addons.

the colors are a bit off and the red needs to be more distinguished

bit of a problem with this mod, the headcrab seen in unforseen consquences tat latches unto the scientist head next to the room with the glock is still the classic one.

10/10 model since it has the 6 eyes on the side

i actually think that the classic headcrab design is canonical to the series as the last portal storms happened during the 7 hour war, then every headcrab, including lamar, is over 20 years old and it'd make sense for them to go from a clean white/yellow that we see in half life 1 and half life alyx, to a more filthy and darker color that we see in half life 2

Nevermind, it's just this game being weird with mods. Restarting a chapter from scratch fixed this issue.

For some reason, the zombie models show up with this headcrab on, but as soon as they die, they drop a "regular" one. Also, the ones walking around on their own are still the original.

i think i found a fix! i just uninstalled my mods and installed this one first and installed the other mods again and it works!

Nope. Doesn't work at all except headcrab model.

I just tested here and it's working. Are you sure you don't have any other mod that also replace zombies and headcrabs?

I think this might need to be updated, as it isnt showing up rn and other enemy replacement mods are
