@Drone .45 unfortunately, as far as i'm aware, the entire party utilizes the same chocobo model, so it seems impossible to give them their own individual chocobos.

So just to be clear, this replaces all chocobo's you and your party ride or only the one you are riding yourself? I really like the colors on this mod (more than the full balck version, but i dont want the whole party to ride one.. also did you manage to fix the wing clipping?

1. yes, this mod only replaces the chocobos you and your party ride.
2. no, unfortunately the ability to change color on the default chocobo is done through the use of shaders, which can't currently be modded.

2 questions before I get too ahead of myself...
1) Is this *only* a replacement for base color Chocobo?
2) Is it still possible to change colors with this mod installed?

Absolutely love this mod- this is the chocobo I wanted since playing on PS4. I think it works great with the saddle and the reins. Thanks!

i found the other mod to but cant find it any more so somewone has done it as whare it is idk anymore

Yeah, the other one seems to have been taken down or is at least not publically visible or something. I had it Favorited and when I tried to click to go to its page I got a "doesn't exist" type message.

I definitely won't replace this one if/when i get around to that, so don't worry. BTW, do you know what happened to the other black chocobo mod? I searched for it a few times because I swore that someone had done it already, but I couldn't find it. Did it get taken down?

I prefer keeping the reins myself, because it looks weird animation wise when there aren't any. There was another black chocobo mod that didn't have them and I didn't like it so much. Not that I mind having both options...just that I'd prefer one with the reins available being kept around. :)

That's fair i understand. I could have sworn back on console and in my guidebook there's a secret quest and the black chocobo that take's Ignis' glasses has a black beak but I'm probably wrong.

I probably will. And this is the texture for the black chocobo in the game-- it's beak is slightly orange (and the feathertips have a blue tint). I *am* planning on doing a completely black chocobo, though. I have the textures done, I just can't use the internet at the moment to build the mod.

No saddle woud look interesting why don't you try it and if you think it looks bad then pretend it never happened lol.
