Thank you very much, what an incredible mod you've linked.
In my 1000 hours of gameplay I’ve seen well over 40 catatonic breaks. And all of them have been equally terrible for their own reasons.
Whether they be colony ending or simply just downright annoying, catatonic break is by far the worst mental break in Rimworld.

Catatonic breakdowns are completely bull.
I literally made this mod as a man.

So psychology should be fine.
@bearhiderug Not sure what each of those would mean, all this mod modifies is the breakdown Def for Catatosis, setting its frequency to 0
I'm not getting any errors and I didn't get any catatonic breaks yesterday after removing CCP, but the frame stutters are just too annoying to tolerate.
I tried editing the XML of CCP and set catatonic chance to 0, but it didn't work. There must be another location overriding it. I also had dubs break mod installed. Going to try it without that.

In one playthrough, a paricularly bloody battle took place and I lost more than half of my pawns. As I struggled helplessly trying to recover with the last 4 I had left, a series of 4 catatonic breaks in less than 2 (ingame) days completely brought everything to a halt. It was only by the arrival of a mysterious stranger in black was the colony able to live to fight another day.
I don't really want to completely remove them and thats why I'm not subscribing, but very glad theres a option out there for if I ever get extremely much more frustated.
This was my first encounter with the Stranger in Black , who managed it to save all but two.
I am glad to never experience another catatonic breakdown ever again! :)
