During the production process, if I still have arrows in my backpack, the arrows I make will not be made, but the materials used for making will continue to be consumed.

Okay just confirmed that they do infact scale with the quality of the weapon
schott Nov 21, 2023 @ 3:26am
Does the torpor scale with quality of the weapon ?

Unfortunately there are a number of errors in fashion

1 The sight is not put on the rifle (there may be a conflict with another mod, but it is put on the crossbow normally)

2 A very strange euthanasia reaction: instantly increases numbness, but then it can subside very quickly or very slowly. If you shoot constantly with a crossbow through the sight, then it subsides very slowly (even in a gigantosaurus). In other cases, the usual rapid decline begins (this is very annoying).

3 Immediately after the hit, the decline begins, because of this, it is very inconvenient to put the gigantosaurus to sleep. A temporary stupor is very necessary, acting after an instant.

We tried a super tranq rifle from another mod some days ago... it did not work. Google says, Titano cannot be tranqed the normal way.
2Slow2Shoot  [author] Jan 17, 2021 @ 5:59am
@Tom Keks: Try it. I'm not sure. Depends on the fact if Titano still can gain torpor the normal way.
@Sweetb15: You should be able to use the vanilla options for modifying engram costs.
Tom Keks Jan 17, 2021 @ 4:37am
Hey, can I put Titanosaurus to sleep with this mod? :)
Sweetb15 Dec 15, 2020 @ 1:47pm
Is there anyway to customize what level these unlock by chance?
MadDragon Dec 11, 2020 @ 8:50am
Awesome! I like this. Finally something that lets me tranq weak critters without killing them. Nice.
Nyremis Oct 20, 2020 @ 2:01pm
It does work, I am using another mod entirely now and I was able to do the same exact thing I was trying to do here and it worked. so I know I have the proper method. I think maybe the itemclassstring like you mentioned may be wrong or off a character or something. Because technically with that you should be able to change that for every item in the game, mod or not.
2Slow2Shoot  [author] Oct 20, 2020 @ 7:40am
Those are vanilla options. I didn't created the functionality myself. Technically you only need to know the itemclassstring of this mods items and then you can follow the vanilla description of the option. Maybe they (wildcard) changed something meanwhile or I have some kind of syntax error. Can you test if it is working for you if you change the costs of something else?
Nyremis Oct 19, 2020 @ 1:49pm
I copied your text for changing crafting costs and put it in my server's game.ini file, but when I loaded my server up it did not change the crafting cost. I also took it upon myself to also use the same information from that to change engram requirement, but that also did not work.

I am trying to remove the honey requirement off of the arrow and make the arrow craftable at level 45 and the dart at level 65.

The problem is even if I leave it fully like you have it and just change the numbers around, the changes do not take.

Any help with this would be great, as I like the ability to customize the arrow and dart that this mod provides.

Potency? What do you mean?
Chub Sep 6, 2020 @ 11:18am
could you let me know how to replicate vanilla potency on darts and tranqs? ?
[RnBw] Eclipso' Mar 17, 2020 @ 1:21pm
Oh ok I see. Too bad but that's how it is. (I guess making a custom Rifle with the Scope pre-attached would be the only solution? If so, consider this as an idea, up to you to make it or not ;) )

However I've found 2 things, I don t know if it's made on prupose or not:
1-Your tranq darts does not benefit of the Headshot multiplier, which is quite unfortunate I must admit..
2-They do not have any "torpor per seconds" after the first torpor value on impact. Once again it would be nice to be able to configure that through ini, I like the fact that it s not only the instant torpor in the vanilla Darts/Arrows.

Once again, it's just some ideas / observations, I greatly appreciate your mod (wich is also very thin, 12MB is nice)
2Slow2Shoot  [author] Mar 16, 2020 @ 9:44am
@[RnBw] Eclipso': Unfortunately this isn't possible without modifying vanilla files.
[RnBw] Eclipso' Mar 15, 2020 @ 12:40pm
Is there a way for you to allow us to be able to use that Scope with regular Tranq Darts? Maybe through INI configuration so that it does not change the way it is working right now. Thank you again for hay mod. I higly appreciate the fact that we can customize almost every aspect of it.
GTX2GvO Dec 13, 2019 @ 10:28am
Oh. Wasn't aware of that option for the game.ini.

Well. At least I can get bigger stacks this way.
Too bad the Stack/Item weight can't be altered the same way. :/
2Slow2Shoot  [author] Dec 13, 2019 @ 8:48am
@GTX2GvO: Changing weight and stacksize by custom ini options isn't possible. At least not reliable and lightweight. There is nothing inside the devkit which makes this possible. Only wildcard can do this. And they already did. At least for stacksizes. Just use the "ConfigOverrideItemMaxQuantity" option inside the "Game.ini"
GTX2GvO Dec 12, 2019 @ 5:37pm
Would be great if the ini options also allow for stack size and item/stack weight.
For those who are playing with larger stack sizes.

For the rest it's already an amazing mod to use.

@McBane:

Love the ini customization of this, would you be able to also make a tranq arrow for the compound bow, this would nicely round off all our tranq needs, with the same great customization via ini if possible.

Cheers for what you have done so far!

Thats what i put, but it didnt work anyway.

ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts=(ItemClassString="PrimalItemAmmo_ArrowCTranq_CustTranq_C",BaseCraftingResourceRequirements=((ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemConsumable_Narcotic_C",BaseResourceRequirement=5.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false),(ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemResource_ChitinPaste_C",BaseResourceRequirement=15.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false),(ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemAmmo_ArrowStone_C",BaseResourceRequirement=1.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=true)))
2Slow2Shoot  [author] Mar 26, 2019 @ 7:54am
Cementing Paste was internally named PrimalItemResource_ChitinPaste_C. If you are not sure regarding the names, have a look at the spawn commands listed at

https://ark.gamepedia.com/Cementing_Paste

Also, you maybe have to make the stone arrow bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=true.
Otherwise it could happen, that crafting will also consume other arrows, which are based on the stone arrow. But that is something you have to test yourself :-)
Selim-Sama Mar 25, 2019 @ 7:29pm
hello, I can not change the craft of the arrow.

i want:
5x Narcotic
15x Cementing paste
1x stone arrow.

ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts=(ItemClassString="PrimalItemAmmo_ArrowCTranq_CustTranq_C",BaseCraftingResourceRequirements=((ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemConsumable_Narcotic_C",BaseResourceRequirement=5.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false),(ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemResource_CementingPaste_C",BaseResourceRequirement=15.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false),(ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemAmmo_ArrowStone_C",BaseResourceRequirement=1.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false)))

I changed the craft of dart easily. but the arrow, impossible.

can help me please?
2Slow2Shoot  [author] Dec 15, 2018 @ 12:48pm
Just to be sure. You need the scope from this mod. Not the vanilla one.
Katrina Sparks Dec 15, 2018 @ 11:35am
I'm having trouble attaching the scope to the rifle. With the green dart loaded, the scope still isn't attaching. Any ideas?
2Slow2Shoot  [author] Oct 23, 2018 @ 9:55am
@haslador: This can happen if the item is an child class of another item. E.g. Yellow Tranq Arrow is a child of the vanilla Tranq Arrow. Try to set "bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=True" for the (vanilla) arrow.
haslador Oct 23, 2018 @ 12:11am
No wait they both do it just lost 160 narc to it making the same item using it self
haslador Oct 22, 2018 @ 9:12pm
The dart works fine with the custome crafting cost, due to it being named green tranq dart, but the arrow dont, if you try to change the arrow to consume a tranq arrow, meaning the orignal game one, it consumes it self, due to having the exact same name as the normal arrow instead of being called, green tranq arrow.
