OdstSpartan534 Aug 10, 2015 @ 6:33am

the Residence (Sean) Jul 20, 2015 @ 2:57pm
My character, Tony, has really sensitive eyes and can't even be outside during the day (in which I'm rping as him) and this might help a little.
wall socket Mar 15, 2015 @ 8:23am
night didn't stop for me!
AlphaGodith Jul 23, 2014 @ 7:58pm
sun seems to go down earlier but rises at the same time.
MatanC Jun 1, 2014 @ 8:55am
Using all DLC's, works perfect.
NicePotato Oct 14, 2013 @ 2:27pm

tripwir37876 Sep 22, 2013 @ 11:16pm

Odval Mar 23, 2013 @ 4:47am
Hopefully it works. i dont like how i get Reduced Like everything and lots of Weaknesses. all the time

To answer your question: it seems, to me, as if it works just fine cosmetically but does not correctly (or incorreclty, if you think of it as a cheat) impact the times during which your vampire weaknesses are coming itno play. So I'll get the "your blood boils... ETC" message even though it is still very early morning and, thanks to the mod, pitch black.
Kreamalicious  [author] Nov 25, 2012 @ 8:04pm
Right. Sunrise is at 930am with *roughly* 1 hour of daylight beforehand - so things will start to lighten up roughly around 830am. That doesn't mean it's light at 830am it means the night will begin to transition into day which takes the remaining hour to do until the sun literally rises above the horizon around 930am.

it's a great mod but 8AM in the morning and it's still dark as hell
Sealer Moon Sep 24, 2012 @ 8:38am
Hm, did you use a gamplay setting or did you edit some scripts to accomplish this?
BurntBlackWings Aug 21, 2012 @ 11:15pm
This mod works great with Dawnguard. Using a slew of other mods + BOSS + Nexus Mod Manager to get everything neat and tidy.
a wild frog Aug 17, 2012 @ 3:52am
This mod IS NOT compatible with Dawnguard (1.7) it doesn't change anything.
Kreamalicious  [author] Aug 7, 2012 @ 4:32pm
That makes sense Troy. Thanks for the report.
Troy Aug 7, 2012 @ 12:30pm
this doesnt seem compatable with Frostfall. When I have longer nights installed during the evening and first part of night it says the "sun is radiant" Hmmm. Other than that it is a great mod! Rated :)
Kreamalicious  [author] Aug 5, 2012 @ 9:42am
Thanks for the check Nonfic
Nonfiction Aug 4, 2012 @ 11:07am
As far as I can tell it works just fine with the good and the bad side of being a vampire.
Kreamalicious  [author] Aug 2, 2012 @ 9:15am
Not untill it's released.
Jeepgoesbeep Jul 30, 2012 @ 2:08am
can you get the dawnguard dlc for pc
Troy Jul 24, 2012 @ 12:36pm
This makes complete sense and is inline with some good role playing. If you think that from the autumn equinox until the spring equinox the days in northern lattitudes daylight becomes scarce. The opposite is true in the summer. Using the skyrim calendar and with spring equinox(march 21st) coming on First Seed 21 and the autumn equinox(september 21st) on 21st of last seed you can reasonably assume that when you start a new character (I think the date is 17th of last seed) that days are going to be shorter and cold nights will be most common. So from the inception of a new game until 21st of first seed I use this mod. When i get to that date then I will switch to longer days. You can even use the vanilla day length to transition to longer or shorter days to make it more immersive. Great job Encryptable!
Kreamalicious  [author] Jul 12, 2012 @ 4:37pm
Because I want to know if it still works when people play it with this or the Longer Nights mod.
Campion Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:21pm
wait then why did your question say if you are playing dawnguard tell me if it still works?
Campion Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:20pm
thank you other guy
Campion Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:19pm
ok then when does it come out because i saw a guy on youtube playing of coruse it could have been beta but still
hanataza Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:19pm
My understanding is Dawnguard isn't out for PC and PS3 yet. It's on 360 right now because Microsoft bought temporary exclusivity of it, and the other 2 should be getting in sometime within the next month to month and a half.
Kreamalicious  [author] Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:17pm
I don't have it. Nobody has it for PC - It's not out yet.
Campion Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:17pm
ok i am sry i dont get if you have it tell me where you got it and ill stop bugging you
Kreamalicious  [author] Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:16pm

Campion Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:14pm
where game stop?
Kreamalicious  [author] Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:13pm
You buy it.
Campion Jul 12, 2012 @ 3:08pm
how do you get skyrim dawnguard for the pc?
hanataza Jul 9, 2012 @ 7:13pm
I tested it out for a few minutes earlier and it seems to work fine, from what I could tell. I wasn't sure how realistic lighting handled time of day and whether or not it would interfere, but it doesn't seem to. But, thenn again, I only used it for a little bit and tested out different times of day and made sure nothing apparently wrong was happening. But, I will update back if I encounter any problems.

Also, good job with this. I really like it so far.
Kreamalicious  [author] Jul 9, 2012 @ 6:52pm
No idea. Try it out and report back if you want.
hanataza Jul 9, 2012 @ 3:08pm
Is this mod compatible with http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=7648 (Realistic Lighting)?
Kreamalicious  [author] Jun 13, 2012 @ 2:59pm
I don't know what to tell you except that the timing is setup for full vampirism. It says it right in the description: Vampire Negative effects adjusted. 930am until 5pm. [those are daylight hours]. Unless an update broke it or I missed something [and nobody else has noticed] then I think you're confusing the disease with full blown vampirism. It is the disease [during those first three days of contracting it] that is not adjusted. After you've become a vampire the timing for those negative effects are adjusted.
NarTheNecromancer Jun 13, 2012 @ 2:25pm
I am a vampire and the message still says "Your blood boils in sunlight" even though its dark. No matter what stage I am at it still says its sunlight.
Kreamalicious  [author] Jun 13, 2012 @ 11:40am
It does work fine if you *are* a vampire. It the days leading up to full blown vampirism that are off.
NarTheNecromancer Jun 12, 2012 @ 4:33pm
Could you make the extra time work with vampires please?
Dietrich Kampfer May 9, 2012 @ 9:10am
its like what skyrim would be in like winter. longer nights for the cold icy winds of death as myself to sweep across the lands draining it of its precious vitae..... too much rp... >.>
will Apr 21, 2012 @ 7:35pm
very cool mod.thanks
Navy Rabbit Apr 13, 2012 @ 5:43am
So does this mean that Vampires are still effected at same time? Or has the alteration occured? Im guessing that the shop open/shut times will have something to do with the way the vampire code reacts to the time change on weaknesses? Or has this issue already been resolved???
CLAWER™ Mar 31, 2012 @ 5:09am
good for a vampire
Kreamalicious  [author] Mar 19, 2012 @ 5:31pm
I found it. It's in a script. I'm currently rocking the 1.5 beta patch and I shouldn't make or release any script mods [or anything really] until the final 1.5 patch is out and the Creation Kit is patched as well.

Once 1.5 is final I'll update this and Longer Days. Just to be clear though - both Longer Nights and Longer Days works fine and both have Vampire Negative effects adjusted for the new time - the only thing off is the timming in the days after you've been tagged with the desease but before you've got it full blown. During that time it thinks the sunrise and sunset are still vanilla. no big deal but def worthy of a fix.

Thanks SkavenSlurpy for pointing out the error.
Namechangeplz Mar 19, 2012 @ 10:55am
Bah! Bother and Beffudle! Got fooled, FOOLED! It may look darker but Vampire weakness Damndist Vampire weakness still occurs at the same time >.<
Kreamalicious  [author] Mar 10, 2012 @ 9:05am
PsychoTeddyBear, currently there are no changes to shop times, though I am considering it for a future update for both Longer Nights and Longer Days.
MrLessThanThrees Mar 10, 2012 @ 5:38am
Does this change the times that shops open and close? Or do shops function normally?
Kreamalicious  [author] Mar 8, 2012 @ 11:22am
lol. No you can't run Longer Nights alongside Longer Days. There's no way to add more hours in a day and since both mods change the sunrise and sunset times only one can be used at a time.
Hammersmith Mar 8, 2012 @ 4:39am
Like Überman asked, is this compatible with Longer Days? I want longer EVERYTHING! xP
