Does anyone know how to fix the enemies getting Full Cover next to Spark?

Every time I go to melee the enemy thinking I'll be able to shoot it next, I find out it's getting high cover and it's frigg'n annoying!

anybody know how to localize the flyover message for "shredded armor repaired"? it isn't in localization file, but it does exist in X2Effect_RepaiArmor.uc file

@DAIT0 If by that you mean the Mec Troopers mod then yeah it is. Though I'd argue that in the lategame the MECs end up being significantly stronger primarily due to the melee tree.

Fantastic mod. I don't feel you should be able to res a destroyed SPARK for anything less than a small fortune (or scale cost to rank rather) but otherwise totally balanced and yet very rewarding overhaul.

After building the first SPARK the Proving Grounds is unusable and soft locks the game. It only has the background animation with no UI, no way to go back, etc.

Did anyone ever figure out why the Mechatronic Unit trait is doubled on a SPARK's info screen and blurb? I noticed it seems to be a consistent thing with every mod that modifies SPARKs.

@Dragon32 Because that mod gives 4 possible upgrade slots and this one only gives one. I could, and have for now, but I'd prefer the larger number.

Is there an option in the config I'm missing to disable the Repair Bay slot that this mod gives? I'm also using another mod to add repair slots, and it clashes to have two projects to expand the Engineering repair slots.

I enjoy this mod for the power it gives SPARKs but it has a lot of problems still. I won't be using it for my next campaign.

Can confirm. Can't use the Teamwork ability when one SPARK is bonded to another SPARK.

Hey I love the mod and the improvements it brings to the base game, although I'm experiencing a bug where when I purchase the weapon and armour upgrades from engineering, they do not show up on my SPARK, as if I never bought them at all.

Note: I installed the mod mid-campaign, if that matters, and I tried buying the tier 3 upgrade right away, and the tier 2, same result. Thanks!

Are Trainable SPARKs and Normalize SPARKs necessary for this mod to work? I'm experiencing the same issues as the user below me, and I have no idea if installing them would solve the issue or not

I've used this with A Better AI (not A Better ADVENT, though), plus larger pods, plus a squad of 8. I am not sure they're overpowered, but they are pretty powerful. Overdrive really helps when there's a lot of enemies on the screen.

I don't really see the utility of the tank lane. I tend to buy the heavy duty repair ability for everyone. One other comment asked for some thought into building a better tank lane - at least on the two higher difficulties, I don't think this is possible, you have to kill the aliens before they kill you.

I sort of miss Hunter Protocol from the vanilla sparks. Supernova is a huge amount of damage, but I think I only used it 1-2 times, and it seems like walls block the explosion.

Anyway, some good thought went into this mod.

Does this mod have innate compatibility with CI (and Prototype Armory by obvious extension)? As In Do I need to make the config change for individual buildable items? I remember seeing various comments in PA way early in development, but I haven't seen anything recently, and on top of that, the Compatibility Masterlist that CI has says there is innate compatibility with that and this, so I just wanted to know

Edit: It does, just came back to say it's working fine.

Now If only I can get a 4th full deck XCOM skill tree out of this ;-)

Hey I see some other people had a similar issue to me.
However I researched gauss weapons, purchased helix cannon in engineering but still only ballistic autocannon is available.
Any clue how to fix that?

I would just run this one alone rather than both combined. This already makes Sparks a force to be reckoned with, and very fun to use. That being said, Sectopods and the like can still be a big issue lmao.

This mod seems great! I'm eager to test it once I finish my actual campaign. I'm already using Metal Over Flesh Redux though. That said, does anyone have an advice about how should I config both mods in order to not make Sparks absolutely unstopabble?

Hey guys, my spark is not immune to acid (from Andromedon). It says it is but it also has a debuff from acid. I am not sure if this is caused by using this mod. Any ideas?

@Dragon32 I think I found the culprit. Apparently when using Coilguns and mods for 5 tiers of weapons, the Helix Rail Cannon is moved behind Advanced Coilguns research.

Unlike CaptainSnafu, I started new campaign and I still cannot use any of the weapons beyond the basic ballistic one. Anyone found the solution? Would re-creating the configs help?

I add this mod in the mid-campaign. Then i upgrade the spark cannon and armor in the engineering ground, but the vanilla cannon and the armor remain the basic one.
Do not use this in mid game!!!

Hello. Does someone have experience running this with Covert Infiltration ? I see in the compatibility list that it is compatible, but I also found on GitHub a reworked ini file for this mod, which if I get it correctly, remove most of the advantages on schematics, probably to make it more compatible with Prototype Armory.

LWotC changes so much you're best assuming other mods won't work with it. I think there's something called "Mod Jam" which may help but I've never used it or LWotC.
