If you play with Rem mod, maybe u have bad public order.

Unable to recruit light hoplites as sparta. "not enough recruitment points". Am I missing something?

Their stats differ from Royal Spartans. "Spartiates" is historical name for spartan citizens.
Also in this mod they have good skin. And all elite units are limited around 10 to hire, So u have to deal with them )

Oh they also have the exact same unit description, that is why I think they are clones :)

Ok cool idea. I just am confused about the "Spartiates" Unit, it acutally makes no real sense except to the movie 300 to name them like this. Also they are weaker than the Royal Spartans but cost the same? It actually looks like they can be taken away so you do not have doubled units. Or you make them different stats wise and please rename them :) But that is the only gimmick I have with this mod! Nice work!

This is a really nice mod (though I might be slightly biased towards Spartans, cos Spartans ^^) once question tho. I'm thinking on doing a campaign with this mod along side your REM for my youtube channel, will updates to this mod bugger up the save game?

I am a history major going through western civ 1; perhaps you could add these units to taras which would be more accurate being they came from Sparta and have them only recruitable from the government screen like the armies of the Samnites. but still nice work

You should in my opinion focus your apparent computer skills to create MODS something closer to the real story and from there offer your ideas. sorted found out it was conflicting with ROTR enhanced mod

hi have all the REM mods and others enabled and the ROTR DLC but can only get the spartan expedition units in custom battle no campaign ?

Spartiates are also "golden unit" and you can hire them without Rem :)

You can get the golden guard commander unit but no other golden unit. just posting incase anyone wanted to know
