Actually It is close to Mass Effect, as it is a semi-auto gun ther, thus it becomes harder to (for not a gun-pro) to engage closer and moving targets.

I love this mod, but the accuracy of the weapon is really weird. The closer I am to targets the worse the aim gets, for example a target 7 squares away has an 82% chance to hit but a target 3 squares away has a 68% chance.

Do you have subscribed to other M96 Mattock mod (below)? If yes, that is the reason of your crashesh, because there is duplicate ID/name of the mods. Also, that one below is for base game, without WotC, and this mod is for WotC.

I've tried this mod plenty of times, and no matter what setup of mods I use - or lack thereof besides this - it crashes my game part-way through launch.

Odd thing. The weapon no longer produces the firing sound anymore. Not sure what's causing the issue. Will look into it further and provide an update.

@Deepweb1122 - they are not - upgrades on modded weapons usually doesn't show, it's normal. Effects still apply.
About coloring... this is intented. I don't agree with it, but, well, you don't like it - you don't use it, or use it and lives with it.

Yes, they are issues...the weapon itself is the same color as bile, and the attachments are f#&kin invisible! XD

Nice looking weapon! I'm having some problems with it, though. The upgrades are invisible, both in the upgrade interface, and on the weapon itself. I cannot change the color nor the pattern, either. Any way to fix these issues?

Dear Lord_Poncho thank you for adding the ME3 weapons to WOTC, i love your mods. Hope you can add the m55 ARGUS too someday. There is a non-wotc version of it on steam, wish there also is a wotc version thank you! keep up the good work.

Solved - if anyone have installed both Mattocks, this one and that one for Vanillia - delete te second one. Game goes stupid and crash, even if you have only one activated and both have different mod ID. Tested.

It looks like some crash beetwen MOCX and Mattock, but I will try it tomorrow, just to start these 2 mods - right now I'm after work and not exatly in shape to turning off around 500 mods in smart way to be able to turn them on easily. ;)

Well, not sure how much it's help, but if you send me any logs from the crash, that might be useful. Should be in Documents -> my games -> XCOM2 War of the Chosen -> XComGame ->Logs

I get it, still, fact is: my actual mod list start up and play nice, when activating Mattock, game won't even start.
Still, I would love to have Mattocks in my game, so I want to help to fix it, even by just providing info what could cause it...

Not sure what might be causing it. Nothing with my mod should cause it, as I've set my code up to act alone

In other news, I've pushed out a minor patch to fix mid campaign usage of the gun.

Sadly, I still get crash at startup when I add this mod. What is strange, I have other weapons mod from you activated, only this one is problematic. :(
What I can send you to help repair this problem?
I think there is problem with this mod and MOCX mod, because of this:
DarkXCom: DArk XCOM: Building chips and blueprint
log: Crash detected: Dumping C:\Users\bla bla\minidump.dmp

Pushed out an update to the weapon today. It's now using the WotC PBR shader, vanilla stats construction fees, and somewhat better balanced damage stats

All these mods are amazing. I thought 2 shots sounded low so I changed it to 4 but after using it yeah 2 is good, for balance purposes. Especially since you can start with it and 1 shot all aliens.

One can consider this an alternative to the Beowulf Rifles, as it fills a similar role. Works great if you have it with Superior Extended Magazine (although my Jane Shepard prefers the M8 Avenger).

Mods that I for sure had activated at that moment, other than voice packs:
all of RealityMachina from his WotC list
A Better Barracks, Advent and few other "Better"
Underbarrels
Few other weapons mods, like SW, Halo, Lasguns, something from Better list.

Funny thing is, XCOM2 mod manager (the better one) doesn't show any errors with this mod. It just crashesh... :/

I just found this mod as well as your other ME weapons mods. Had just reinstalled the game as well as other mods I had already known about *bought WotC while on sale as never had it before* Game was crashing upon launch. After spending some time I finally narrowed it down to this particular mod. It does not appear to be a compatibility issue as it crashes at launch even when it is the only active mod. The rest of your weapon packs appear to be fine, just not this one.

Three things to know about this mod-
1- I love this mod
2- Has a custom range chart
3- Has no increase in damage on a crit
---2 and 3 can be changed in the INI if players have issues with them

It was giving me trouble before the TLP came out. My guess is there's some compatibility issue with another mod. Your Republic Commando weapon mod is working without issues, though.

I've got these installed with Resistance Firearms right now, and it's working fine.

Best guess is that you the new TLP installed, which broke a lot of the mods on the workshop. That's also why I refuse to update until my legendary campaign is complete.

Yes. The conventional Mattock does not appear for me either. I only got it after I had researched Magnetic weapons.

@Naylind Well, all I can say right now, is to get to magnetic and let me know if you see it. I've heard that some people don't have a conventional weapon at the start, but building the magnetic tier weapon works.

nah already started i mean i saw the chosen after the first terror mission, so conventional. The weapon not appear in the selection.
