Actually It is close to Mass Effect, as it is a semi-auto gun ther, thus it becomes harder to (for not a gun-pro) to engage closer and moving targets.

About coloring... this is intented. I don't agree with it, but, well, you don't like it - you don't use it, or use it and lives with it.
Still, I would love to have Mattocks in my game, so I want to help to fix it, even by just providing info what could cause it...
In other news, I've pushed out a minor patch to fix mid campaign usage of the gun.
What I can send you to help repair this problem?
I think there is problem with this mod and MOCX mod, because of this:

could you make the M-13 Raptor from ME3 and Andromeda ? Maybe one as an AR and the other as a Sniperrifle

A Better Barracks, Advent and few other "Better"
Underbarrels
Few other weapons mods, like SW, Halo, Lasguns, something from Better list.
Funny thing is, XCOM2 mod manager (the better one) doesn't show any errors with this mod. It just crashesh... :/
1- I love this mod
2- Has a custom range chart
3- Has no increase in damage on a crit
---2 and 3 can be changed in the INI if players have issues with them
Best guess is that you the new TLP installed, which broke a lot of the mods on the workshop. That's also why I refuse to update until my legendary campaign is complete.
So you didn't see a conventional tier for the Mattock, correct? Is there a magnetic upgrade available?
