magnum is working on sunset v4 behind the scenes (just waiting for a free weekend to himself to get it started); starpass 2 is unfinished but it should be on the workshop or on the internet as a bsp somewhere

Thank you a lot. Personally, I don't expect updates for any trainbuild maps in active rotation ATM, since they've been polished to almost no bugs and well-optimized. Will be looking forward to that collection for sure. Speaking of which, do you know if Star Pass 2 has ever been finished and/or released?

i don't have (and never actually have had) intentions of overwriting any of my older projects with their successors, primarily for posterity-- just don't expect any updates to the obsoleted version

rest assured me and everyone else (??) in my mapping circle share the same sentiment of keeping older things around as memorabilia and trinkets vs. creating "lost media" for an already niche subgenre of an increasingly niche sandbox game. i have a collection of old trainbuild maps that i'll probably end up releasing in an archive at some point

If I may ask... when the map rebuild is complete, please, PLEASE keep the PHX version, for those of us who want to enjoy our old builds done using PHX gauge on this beautiful map.

You have the current options of using Sligwolf's equipment (may act funny with the way he has those set up, use at your own discretion) or building your own equipment using the variety of trainbuild prop packs available. (Magnum's consolidated pack in particular if you're looking to get started with that..)

if the locomotives are private, don't include them in screenshots. that way, people won't beg for them.

Map'll be rebuilt in the future with less third-party assets. Not sure what to tell you for the time being, unfortunately..

Missing Textures? I have all the requirements and addons but the ground is still missing textures. Do you know whats happening?

I don't mean to be a pain, but why on Earth are there so many required addons? (What doesn't help is that a lot of the required addons also have required addons, and so you end up with a mess of addons that all require one another...)
Is it possible you could reduce the requierments or find some way to pack things together?
