Just wanted to say thank you for putting this out there, because the attention to detail with regarding to keeping it in tune with Vanilla balance while upping the roster size is greatly appreciated. Too many mods don't even try to fit the vibe, tone, balance, or intent of the base game. This one is exemplary in that regard. Thank you.

Glad you are enjoying the mod and back in game again @69evasha I haven't played in a couple years either just returning about a month ago and trying to finish mods I have found half completed and enjoying the game again. I'm not really sure what you meant about the update slot as I haven't worked on this mod in a couple years. If you like this one and still run out of room I made several roster mods you can choose from 50 up to 999

Thank you! Great mod, The increase in price was a good idea. P.S. I just picked the game up after a 2 year break and have been looking for mods to spice things up! My OG unmodded file (from 2019) only has 3 experienced recruits upgrade slots so I can only assume the devs were sneaky and the slot diappeared in an update.

I really don't know to be honest this is the only one where it was reported @Gruumk I am thinking maybe there is something in CoM that I'm accidentally overwriting but I didn't actually figure out that bug yet I will get back to work on troubleshooting tomorrow and check the other mods. Just haven't had much time lately to see what the problem is

Hey, just came across your 3 roster size increases and see that this one is the only one where you discuss these issues. are they fixed? is it exclusive to this 50 size one or does it affect the other two?

@not_a_doctor it shouldn't, but something weird is going on with it the codes there but its like its defaulting to the Darkest or Stygian file rather than using the one for Radiant runs with the 4th experienced recruits

I'll keep looking into it see if I can figure it out but with it as the only active mod enabled and no DLC, 4th level just disappears o.0 disable the mod and it shows back up o.0

the 4th experienced recruits stage coach upgrade is just gone. vanished. does this mod interfere with the associated files?

The issue just has to do with the mods using the exact same file to do what they do, message me with the other mod you were asking about and I will see if I can roll them together for you. If I understand what you are wanting it shouldn't be too difficult to set up.

Is there a way to make this one compatible with other stagecoach mods that increase the number of recruitable heroes? Love the larger roster bc there are plenty of good modded classes out there, but those classes severly reduce the chance of getting others in the coach. So one or two other recruitables a week would help, but from what I'm seeing it's having to choose one or the other.

Just easier for both of us this way and should keep everyone happy

Wow thanks a million this is great! I think i'm drawn to the more even progression of the bottom version (and how this mirrors the increases of the vanilla hero barracks) but I'm not really qualified to have an opinion on how much this would impact balance. Assuming both versions can't exist, which ever one you and everyone else likes the most :)

Personally I prefer using the one on top because it delays the big roster and makes you think a little during progression but the other one ramps up faster for testing class mods.

Hey @gWorldz thanks for making this mod. Would there be any possibility to do an alternate version that scaled up to 100? I know your 999 variant exists but a version that scaled up to 100 would be great option for people who want to use a lot of class mods, maintain balance and avoid bumping into any of the potential issues of going over 100

Thanks for the answer, i have been playing with this mod installed for some hours, i didn't had any problems and works great so far. And thanks for the suggestion, i will check that one out if 50 heroes isn't enough.

I have been enabling and disabling on my game saves with no issues so should be fine as far as I know Jorge_Axolote

Please let me know if you have any issues though, this is just the first mod I've made and I'm running all DLC except CC on my games on build 23941 so I'm not sure how it could impact older game saves

... is not as broken as the name implies though has a standard progression like this mod until final upgrade to Roster Size that balloons from 50 to 999 max.

Nice, i have a lot new classes installed and the vanilla roster wasn't big enough to try them all out on a single game. Would this be safe to use with an already existing save?
