It would have been fun to have extended some parts even more for more enemy-waves that creates the great battles. Would have been really suitable for Duke to handle large waves more often. That's just an idea, no critic. Amazing job on this one! :)
DNF feels like shit compared to that mod, which is true Duke experince until 1996.
Anyway my only criticism is the censorship of some of the possible less tasteful parts such as the booths in the porn shop not being shown for what they are!! and the strippers not giving you the full show that they do in the original!!
Sure, I'd love to see some additonal content made by other users.
Enforcers and Assault Commanders can't be gibbed, but you can shoot off their heads. ^^
I'm planning to add and improve more stuff for a redux version of the mod at some point in the future.
Both options "disable ragdoll" and "simple destruction" in CPU settings need to be unticked.
Thanks!
It took me some time to get the hang of it, but the serious editor is probably the most fun to use editors I've ever worked with (I've worked with Build, Unreal and CryEngine before).
The standout feature is the model editor, which lets you create ,rig and animate models within the gameworld. It's also used for creating level geometry. So you might want to have a basic understanding of traditional 3d modeling when creating new levels. But to get started you can ofcourse import external models, or just throw something together using assets from SS.
There are some tutortials on YT and Steam, and you can always ask the modding community on discord :)
Is this easy to learn to map for cause i'd love to make some maps with this tool set
it comes with any serious sam 3d game ie serious sam 3 bfe or serious sam 1st encounter hd
AFAIK, there is no way to bind VR controller keys, nor does jumping work in teleport mode.
I haven't tested all maps with teleport, so there might be some parts where you need to switch to smooth locomotion in order to perform a jump.
And how can i change the teleport button ? Please help...
