@hockeysauce - I don't think long term NCAA is really going to be playable or fun, EHM wasn't really designed for it to ever really work. The biggest issue is the teams are classified as Amateur, because of that staff options, funding and need will be limited. It's more-so playable for player development for prospects and transfer rule details, its a good starting point for your GM due to the high team reputations it should be easier to move into other pro leagues you have selected in your save.

thanks for the awesome work, as always... quick question, is there anyway I could get NCAA staff working? I'm willing to put the time in but I can't figure it out using the editor, in fact i'm quite confused lol

only the canadian-born NCAA staff seem to generate contracts of $2,000 annually when I start a save, but using the editor I cannot see any of the financial info that is set for the database. even NHL staff & players show $0 salaries in the editor, but work fine in-game

NCAA is still playable, played a great save on one of the previous roster versions, but eventually almost every team ends up with only a Coach/GM ... just hoping there is a way I could get teams to hire more staff

my game keeps crashing at the end of june, with no error message, just the game closing, it seems to be an old issue? did you ever find a solution?

Thanks again for keeping the game alive eck. Just started a new OHL save, the new 3 foreign players isnt working, still limited at 2 euros. Also maybe im blind but cant find the reserve list screen. Also got the date error like 3 different days but the game doesnt crash so its not a big deal

@BobbyMaldini that hasn't been my experience at all so I'd like to see your save. You can DM me, if other people feel the same let me know and I'll see what I can do with my research team.

Is it really subjective? im trying to play with this current DB and all third liner score moire points than first liner. 16 bottom team of last year are now top 16s. I have to mannually change everyone back to reasonable '' roles '' erik haula, boone jenner, mathieu olivieer scoring more than mcdavid.. I just feel something is off.

@Ricky Simón - you can easily change the cap yourself using assistant. Also I had to raise the max to be in line with Kaprizov's extension. The max contract limits scale to CA/rep, my hand was forced.

sorry but why raise max contract limits if we are playing with a static cap? The rising contracts reflect the rising cap.

have we fixed the offensive and defensive role yet? I remember few players have been "fixed" but theres still thousand still fucked. I still see 20 off role and 3-4 def role for players who are not suppose to be.

Thanks for the fantastic work, as always! I found a error in the Parker Kelly's contract. His 825 000$ contract finish this year, and he had signed a extension this summer, 4 years and 1 700 000$ AAV.

@Рудольф Шнапс - I did have this but there was a typo in the arena name, good catch. I'm going to wait to push a patch on this just in case there are other things reported that need fixing.

Hi.Thanks for update lists . But soon after nhl free agents starts 2026 its crash and game stops. Is is only for me or somebody els?

@xECK29x - I forgot to add that the KHL has made changes to the regulations, and starting this season, instead of 5 post-game shootout attempts, there will be 3 (like in the NHL).

@xECK29x - This is an actual rule that applies to KHL clubs such as Dinamo Minsk, Barys, and Shanghai Dragons. These clubs have no limit on foreign players in real life. @xECK29x Yep, there is no foreigns limit for foreigns clubs in KHL.

I am unsure if you are asking to make that foreign limit change on those clubs because its a real rule or if you are just asking how to do that in your save? DM me.

Sorry for asking so many questions and giving you so much work, but would it be possible to make it so that there is no limit on foreign players in the KHL for Dinamo Minsk, Shanghai Dragons, and Barys?

And also, which is very important, please rework Joshua Leivo’s skills from Traktor, since he’s the top scorer in the KHL but his stats are just terrible. Not sure if this is a bug but three times in a row I've been fired on November 24 in the second season at a club. The last one I was in second place, payroll under control, job wasn't insecure or anything. Previous two were similar situations. Using the latest update...

How can i increase "Average Goals per Game"? Is there any parameter in editor?

In my current save in the Alps Hockey League i noticed a bug right after the regular season. The Pre-Playoffs are drawn before the Master Round and Qualification Round even start, which shouldn’t happen.

Also, the 6th placed team after the regular season is not assigned to either group, so their season ends immediately.

Right structure would be:

Top 5 teams go to the Master Round (+already qualified for playoffs)

Remaining teams (6-13) go to the Qualification Round

After the Qualification Round:
Bottom 2 are eliminated
The rest play Best-of-3 Preliminary Rounds for the last 3 playoff spots

Extra info:
Celje withdrew from the real AHL so there are just 13 teams remaining.

@Airwaves28 - Maybe, you aren't the first to ask and with the updated tooling I can keep them fairly up to date. The problem with the NIHL-1/2 levels however is I don't think they will really be fun to play long term due to the lower reputation of the leagues mainly due to the financials. It's also more of a burden to me to keep updated.

LEVIS 李维斯 - Demidov is already an NHL player, maybe you are using an older version of the DB, 150/-10 and Fowler is 100/-20 both are guaranteed NHLers at their floor.

@BobbyMaldini - fix coming this week for that, something went sideways while editing I just have to see if anything else was impacted.

jacob fowler and demidov might need an update same for musty, musty and fowler never seem to develop to nhl players

dont know where to suggest change, they were ok before the new "patch" now 80% of players are 20 offensive role and 3 defencive role. it makes no sense. someone fucked up on edits
