No, unfortunately not. (Again, I have changed nothing to localisation, I just edited the already existing L'aigle mod for warband a tad with the changes mentioned in the description)
Also, I will not be planning to perform any updates on this mod, since L'aigle for warband most likely will also not see any future updates.
That being said, I do look forward for a napoleonic mod for Bannerlord, so that I can maybe make a successor of this submod there.
Yes. It should be noted that this it not aimed to be historically accurate, moreso historical fiction.
Nothing has been added to the base mod. Only an edit to troops.txt, the music and the flag aswell as faction name.
If you have Mount and Blade: Warband and you click the "Subscribe" button, Steam will download the item for you. When it is done it should appear under your modules when you start up the game.
I am not the developer of L'aigle. I simply edited a flag, a faction name and tweaked the troops.txt file. It is for that reason a submod; An edited version.
If you have feedback / complaints to L'aigle mechanics I highly suggest you approach the L'aigle dev through his Discord which can be found by looking up L'aigle in Moddb for example.
Thank you dev. Love the mod, just tired of playing this game on my own while im wasting mymen to assault places on my own, while my allies says that they are too busy.
The main L'aigle mod (https://www.moddb.com/mods/laigle/downloads) is still planned to receive an update including the Ottoman Empire, Bonapartist Spain and all other currently missing factions.
At the same time, I am rather unsure if it will happen, as the last release was in 2015, and I figure people will be working on modifications in the style of the L'aigle mod for the game of Warband's released successor: Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord.
Oh and don't forget you can always provoke a war urself by aligning urself with a faction and then attacking a caravan from another faction.
It might be or might not be, given it changes the troops.txt
But to be fair, I have not updated it on Moddb yet. I will do so today.
NVM on that one: It works, just tested it myself.
I have updated the mod. Could you be so kind as to verify if you now can recruit grenzers as you wished? (You need to recruit light infantry, and then as you level them up you can either pick the Jager or Grenzer path)
I am however occupied with my studies at university for Network & Cybersecurity, so I'll see if I can find time.
