i have to agree with @MrBoyo , would be awesome if the armor is on him while exploring when you use the trinket

Cool character, kinda unbelievable choice to throw very hard slurs into the barks. I get that Guts said that word... once. In the 1990s. When he's 12. In the 3 decades since, homophobia has never been a part of his character.

Feels like the creator was excited to be edgy on the thinnest pretext possible. If you want to add characterization, maybe refer to anything that actually defines the character, and maybe don't put pretty serious slurs in something that's supposed to be fun.

Literally a buffed Leper with wider range of usability. Strong melee attacks, two self buff skills, riposte and two ranged attacks. His trinkets are amazing(imagine Leper having a trinket on +60% dmg of melee skills!) and make a great hero amazing.

Any possibility to update this mod with his Berserk form/armor? Struggler class mod could be used as a basis for a transformation skill
Would be super cool, that way the Berserker Armor trinker could be changed to something else and it could become a toggleable skill

great mod, one bug i encountered is that the CoM trinket doesn't appear in the shop, i tried running the game with only this mod installed and it still did not appear

too bad theres a limit on the weapon sprite. maybe for his walking and fighting idle animations you could conceal it behind his back or something

If you pay "always no camera zoom", you can see how sword model cuts on middle in attack animations, sad

Very good mod with great moves and animation but the throwing knives stick out like a sore thumb and don't match at all with the rest of him. other than the knifes very good mod 9/10 (would be a 10 if you fix the knives)

speaking of the commission, hey awesome mod author of this mod, if you see this message would i be able to get permission to edit for art files to make a more true to scale guts?

@GutsRage some do but they should explicitly say so in the description, usually toward the top so people notice. all this does is add a new hero, being guts, to the game, who has a small percent of chance to show up in the roster each week with the other random new heros. im currently looking to get a mod commissioned to make guts the proper height and sword the proper size, will post here if that ever happens

out of curiosity cos I never installed any mods for this game... it doesn't replace any existent class within the game it actually adds a brand new one?

The class is just a Leper+ basicly, overall just as boring, just as strong, just as inaccurate. Will make your dungeons a LOT easier. Maybe could use a slight nerf.

All I did was replace the original text with my own, but ran into an error. In description of two skills half of text is missing and / or not displayed completely.

I'd have the speed boost either +2 or no speed boost at all. It's a really good trinket even without the speed boost
I've paired it up with the Behelit or Berserker Armor and Guts is unkillable

The line comes from the infamously terrible "Band of the hawk" fan translations. Hardcore Berserk fans know it by heart because it's so awful.


From Volume 31, page 172. Guts is asked if he's an apostle.

In the band of the hawk version he says, "♥♥♥♥ you. I'm human, the real deal, right down to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥' marrow of my bones. Don't lump me together with you ♥♥♥♥♥♥-ass monsters."


The actual translation is: "Screw you. I'm purebred human, right down to the bone. Don't mistake me for one of you freaks."
