It's trash.. This guy not even bothered to think why somethings in the original campaign are that way.. Like: Why they made your commander impossible to die at the first mission? Cuz if he does, mission cannot continue. You just stay there, with no possibility to continue. And he always die, cuz there are many enemies.. In the original campaign, we see him taking a lot of rounds, but not dying. This guy not even though of that. BTW why couldn't he giver an ordinary M4A1 carryhandle? WTF is that iron sight? You can't see sh$t.. Lazy work, do not download it

I´m interested in trying modding this. It will be my first atempt on modding (ever) though. But I would like to replace the AAF and CSAT with the actual versions of them in the 3CB Factions mod. Is that as easy as just replacing the infantry and vehicles in the PBO file with the 3CB ones?

I noticed while playing Drawdown that the AAF is using Chernarus Defense Forces Mi-8s.. Is that the only option you had? I only ask because, I know that Star/roundel, but it can pass for AAF due to the color of the roundel. I assume thats what you're going for?

Other than that curiosity, so far really enjoying it!

Its to bad i found this now, because its what I have been looking for. Its GREAT! If some know how to mod (I don't, I am just a frequent user of mods) it would be cool if they mod in the 3CB Factions mod and use their take on AAF and CSAT factions. Right now it's obvious that the modder has used RHSUSAF for Nato, RHSSAF for the AAF and RHSAFRF for CSAT.

@random scav: If you are using LAMBS or other AI mods it will case the mission to fail. Same thing happens if you use those mods in vanilla campaign

This is mod has not been updated and maintained since 2018. As of the latest Arma3 update, this mod no longer functions properly. There are a lot of bugs due to incompatibility with the latest Arma3. It will create memory leak and crash your pc. Like many other people, I really like real world equipment than futuristic weapons in the original game. I really wish the creator of this mod can update it and make it compatible to the latest Arma3.

Cool re-do of the East Wind campaign. It's a little broken in some places though (convoys don't like to move sometimes when time-accel is on, and the last canon mission is instantly killing the reporter)
The weapons and ammo box supplies don't seem to match up a lot of the time either, so if I want to try a new gun in the Adapt story, sometimes there's just no ammo anywhere. I also wish that there some descriptions on the items that were added (flash suppressors and all the grenades for example.)
Despite all of this, I really enjoyed playing through this and I think some of the missions were more fun than the original. I like that running over everyone with an MRAP is no longer possible because the glass is weaker, so it forced me to get better at the game.

@Arab Jahseh إِنْ شَاءَ Some people prefer a more modern setting over a near future setting. They like the campaign but prefer real world equipment.

@Windows XP, the content was for the most part created by Bohemia, the mod creator has merely converted it to use RHS and BAF to make it feel more modern.

Great remake of the campaign. Just a few issues:
1. It seems some weapons are missing. Probably from RHS mod, but not sure. I keep getting "missing entry" error.
2. I am getting a lot of freezes and crashes when opening map during a mission. Not sure if it's due to mod or original ARMA 3 issue
3. Mysterious Cache mission cannot be complete. I search the house with mines but the crate with AA weapons doesn't exist. The other weapon crate is there, however.

Lol really like that the AAF is now serbian. There would have been an AAF (with gear from all the RHS mods) also. But SAF work's out fine. Only problem is, that it seems I can't load any savegames. The same problem occures with several mods overwriting vanilla files (like CUP). I could be mistaken about this campaign mod though...

I have recently just found this conversion mod, and by far i find it more enjoyable than the base game campaign ( i enjoyed the base one) I hope it does not die out. good work developer and team!

Sooo.. just a little update. I know this has some bugs (like you cannot actually finsh the campaign), but i dont really know how much of this actually on me, and how much of this is beceause of the original Arma 3 scripting. I haven't played Arma since a good year or so (actually, i probably didnt play it since i created the mod) but, i promise you that i will look into it once i have the time to be able to (prbly somewhere around august or so). However, i do not promise that i will be able to fix all the bugs (like the Convoy bug, no idea how to handle this) but i wil try to make most of this compatible. This was a "Just for fun" project for me personally, and im quite a buisy person, so pls do net expecto too much of me.

Posted a few issues undert the 'report bugs' thread, there's a lot of errors trying to get BAF working with RHS, don't know what it is. Surprised more people aren't mentioning it here, I'm using only the mods listed in the workshop description.

It would have been better to go with some of the GREF uniforms since many of those are quite fitting for a group like FIA. In fact I think one of them is even based of the uniforms used by the FIA in the first Arma game. Also since helmets are now a viaable option, maybe give some older plain ones to FIA.

Weapons wise it is just boring to pretty much recycle the same gear the USA was using. There are tons of options in the RHS mods for more fitting weapons. The VHS and vz. 58 would be good example of rifles to arm FIA with. Both are from eastern european countries, and would be fitting to find in a conflict caught between the USA and Russia. It also help act as a better foil to the SAF based AAF. Also the vz. 58 is the classic FIA rifle in the first Arma game so it would be a nice callback to use it.

While most of it was nice, I was really sad that the FIA was pretty much BAF uniforms, and USA weapons.

While some of the BAF uniforms were fitting, it was odd to see so much modernish uniforms on a paramilitary force like this. While the British may have given some supplies (remember the role Miller's team played is never fully explained so we don't know who was backing them), it is unlike they would have send many uniforms in a style that was used in anyway by the current BAF. The UK had troops in Altis at one point so they wouldn't want anyone to confuse memebers of FIA and BAF in combat. Also some of the uniforms looked like they were intended for colder weather use (heavy, bulky and with hoods), not midsummer in the Mediterranean.

Well that situation also happened to me once. What I did was having a save game after (or during) taking the warehouse. So if the convoy that will pick up the player aftewards gets stuck (again) than my solution was to reload that save. After a first or second re-load atempt (I can't remember for sure) it finally worked for me.

If you're talking about the convoy getting stuck at basically the beginning of the mission than for me the trick was leaving the vehicle and proceding alone on foot to the objective which after a while other friendly soldiers will also join the fight and after the first objective is acomplished (taking a warehouse) the convoy will then join the player's position in order for the player to continue with the mission.

The convoy on Moral Fiber wont move and reloading the save doesnt work. Any Fixes?
