Not bad. Not really difficult but intricate. So it kept me busy for a while.

I did like this but, I did find it a bit hard to tell where I was and where I needed to be at any given time. Which isn't necessarily bad.
Also, I hate to say this because I really suck at tightly timed puzzles (and was a little woried when I saw it, even kind of knowing what I had to do), the timer left a lot of room for multiple portal shots. I actually only shot one after I hit the button but there was still alot of time left (which I would normally prefer).

Being my first course I wasn't pushing for it to be extremely challenging. I thought parts of it may have been confusing, but I figured I'd publish it and see what kind of responses I would get.

wildgoosespeeder: thank you for pointing that out. It didnt even cross my mind that the cube wasn't necessary when you can shoot a portal right through the laser door.. Big oops. :)

Cube is not necessary (the ball is though). Also when you do drop the ball, you pull a fast one and it made me confused at first on how to get back.

nice job, enjoyed it. The beginning might be tightened a little. I felt a bit torn on which room I should go into or which was relevent first, but it wasn't a detriment to me solving the puzzle so it's not too big an issue.

It obviusly took a lot of effort to build this map considering how compact it is, but the chamber itself was not challenging at all.
