Writing it here because the update mod's comments are closed:
Does this mod work with Ethics and Civics Alternative?
Capitan Boricua Jul 29, 2020 @ 10:45am
Are those the actual names of the factions?

Hi, are you planning on updating this mod ? Or does it work fine without any update ?
MightNight Dec 16, 2018 @ 2:30pm
Ahah ok I'll hold off for now then. Take your time no rush! Let me get you two bags of coffee just in case since I know you always end up forgetting about sleep.

Maaaaybe. I think there may have been a few changes to the way Influence is gained, so I'd hold off for now. This particular mod is quite high on my want to update list, though.
MightNight Dec 16, 2018 @ 1:19pm
Arguing with Ash on this specific mod is futile.
Speaking of which: do you think it would be safe to play with it enabled before you officially update it? I don't recall them messing with Factions in the new update besides how the influence from factions is gained...

1- No they shouldn't.
2- I'm quite aware. Also, Materialists and Egalitarians are not opposing ethos.

Preservationists should have pacifist ethos, like "Agrarian Idyll" civic.
Also aristocrats and elitists sound the same while having opposing ethos.
AlphaAsh  [author] Jun 27, 2018 @ 2:27pm
Same restrictions apply. You can't ban factions that are your empire's ethos. You can't ban extreme factions. To ban a vanilla faction that you can, you suppress it first.
Gerishnakov Jun 27, 2018 @ 1:29pm
I'm not getting the option to ban factions with this mod. I've unsubscribed from 'Banned'.
ElegantMud Jun 27, 2018 @ 9:32am
@Jalios. I think the logic is that since they (the population that has formed the elitist faction) are egalitarian and believe that all people have an equal playing field, anyone who happens to gain power has earned that power and thus is more fitting to lead then those who have not. Thus the "elitist" title.
AlphaAsh  [author] Jun 27, 2018 @ 4:50am
No worries. However, you wouldn't. It would become an argument that I've already had half a dozen times in the comments of other versions of this mod.
Tollrick Jun 27, 2018 @ 4:47am
Im not trying to be an asshole or something, I just want to understand your reasoning.
AlphaAsh  [author] Jun 27, 2018 @ 3:21am
Oh, this argument again. Reasons. No.
Tollrick Jun 27, 2018 @ 2:54am
So... why are the Elietists egalitarians? Isn't that a contradition?
AlphaAsh  [author] Jun 23, 2018 @ 11:13am
@Axonum Afraid not. Relies too much on AlphaMod.
@MightNight Friday night = chilled out, head down, got it done. Tested this morning.
MightNight Jun 23, 2018 @ 10:14am
Well that was quick. Thanks brother!

Doesn’t say it not here. Labor Union is.
perl Jun 23, 2018 @ 8:18am
Thanks for making some of your supplements standalone. No exploiting feature in the standalone version though?

Cool 👍
