I don't mean 5 from that list, I mean in custom value: try putting in 2000 for custom

That can't be right, I've previously had drones and rovers set to 5 and sometimes they look like they're drifting when turning they go so fast. Initially I was just trying to speed them up by a small amount so was trying to set them to 2 instead of the default 1.

Ah, it's not mentioned anywhere, but the speed numbers you see in the list are 5 * 1000 (and so on), if you set it to just 5, it'll be real slow.

I seem to be having a problem with the Speed settings of Rovers and Drones. When I enter a custom value, then select it in the list as instructed and hit Okay, it causes every single rover/drone to freeze in place and while I can order them around they will not move.

In the resupply menu? That shows the default rocket for the sponsor. I can look into changing it.

They're made kinda limited, you can fiddle easier from the console:
press ~ or enter to open it
paste in ~TraitPresets and press enter to see a list of trait ids (they have to be entered exactly)
Select the colonist you want to change and use (s is shorthand for SelectedObj)
s:RemoveTrait("Alcoholic")

(use AddTrait for the reverse)



@Omega7 menu>debug>story bits>test story bit (I should change that name to start instead of test probably), you can use that filter at the bottom to find it easier

No, but you can use shift-q to clone pretty much anything (select something and it'll appear where your mouse cursor is).

i know that i can delete deposits, was wondering if i'm able to place deposits? i kinda want to place a water one because my tracks interrupt my life support pipes and i don't want to redo and/or make a 9000 mile convoluted pipeline in my underground.

every colonist i receive is a botanist, im specifically selecting ones that arent botanists but i dont know how to disable the specialization override.

Oh, I figured I would've added something for that...

If you want to do it manually then select a dome, open the console, and paste this in
s.WorkRange = 24
default for basic dome is 6, medium is 8 (paste in s.WorkRange to see the current range, or use examine on a dome= f4).

I'll throw in a menu item or something next update.


Fair warning, if you enlarge the range then shrink it, any research labs will still get boosts (it only adds it doesn't remove).

Is it possible to increase a dome's radius? To get some extra range for vistas/research sites/deposits.
