There's no respawn, but because the AI numbers are not ridiculous, and AIS medical is forgiving, with multiple human players, should be easy to medium difficulty.
A lot of detail went into this. And, at least in my single-player LAN server test, the FPS never dropped. Your mileage may vary when, for instance, you have people connecting to the same server thousands of kilometers apart, each loading large modsets.
Very much recommended for friend groups who like narrative cooperative missions.

It would surely be easier, but I personally don't mind it like it is. I like having a bit of a challenge, taking out a 60+ tonne heavily armored vehicle isn't supposed to be easy. We have literally all weapons available from virtual arsenal + those "explosive rich" crates right next to armor, so getting the right tools for the job isn't an issue.
Would it be easier if I added an action to the heavy artillery pieces that would destroy the artillery pieces after a few seconds as if you placed charges on it or do you like having to destroy them manually with explosives? Just want to know because I'm close to rolling out an update for this mission in the next couple days and could add that feature.

Anyways, it was a great mission like all others from SABRE, instantly one of my favourites!
Decided to mess around a bit - left the team behind, went in solo (stealth marksman loadout). Broke some personal records in the process: 11 vehicle kills, 198 infantry kills! (If anyone's wondering, there were reverts ... lots of reverts xD)
Unfortunately, that is not a bug. The artillery piece, the M4 Scorcher, is very well armored. It even says so on the Arma wiki. In fact, it's almost comically so. It takes a lot of firepower to destroy one. A combination of satchel charges under the rear followed by a rocket or two in the rear or side should be enough. I placed supply crates with extra rockets and explosive charges near the arty pieces to hopefully combat this problem.
I believe the issue with ACE not working is because the older version of Psycho's revive conflicts with it. I'm currently in the process of updating all my missions with the newest version of his revive script. I just updated SABRE: Commandos a few hours ago with it.

That is most likely because this was my first and currently the only mission of mine that uses dynamic simulation to enhance performance. My guess is that the units were not being simulated at the time of the mortar strike because you were far away from them. However, they still absorbed the full amount of damage in their non-simulated state. So when you finally got to them you were shooting already dead enemies that had died being frozen in time if that makes sense.

If you are not playing in multiplayer, then you should be able to save the mission manually as much as you want. If you can't save, then it means you have the option disabled in your difficulty settings. That sohuld help with you not having to replay the mission if something goes wrong. I'm going to add autosaves to all my missions in the future! In regards to the alternate boat extraction, I would say that it seems like a good idea that I may implement in the future or I could have a NATO gunship come in as an escort with the extraction helicopter to help even the odds.

Psycho's Revive should detect if ACE is running and shut its initialization process down. I haven't updated to the newest version of AIS because I literally just found out that Psycho updated the revive system 8 days ago. I will work on updating my missions with that. However, the fact that I did not design this mission with ACE in mind could be the reason things with ACE just don't work properly. It happened with an OPTRE mission I made as well where ACE just wasn't working for people. Sorry you experienced this problem!
