The bag of emotes doesn't work in GM mode. Unfortunately, story scripting isn't supported in GM mode unless its an adventure mod.
Some emotes should be available via skills though.
About statuses in GM mode, have you considered adding animation by status even without infinite loop support? It would be a great addition.
Also, have you tried asking devs in the mod troubleshooting thread of Larians forum? There is a big chance that it is a bug that causes an issue with infinite animation loop. Because there is another similar mod by JRaven, which adds a lot of emote statuses. And in the beginning, all the statuses worked great even with an infinite loop. Only after some patch this was broken.
Devs are pretty active in mods threads there. Maybe they could fix it or at least provide some workaround?
I was able to set it to an infinite loop, but I couldn't find a way to play an animation with using a status. There is an exit skill you can fire as the status falls off, but the best I could do was fire a skill wasn't directly connected to character animations (like a projectile). I tried to fire the wave skill, but no luck, even tried to do it several different ways like "SELF:Shout_Emotes_Wave", "TARGET:Shout_Emotes_Wave", and even the animation itself "Wave_01". No animations seemed to fire. I'll keep trying to find a way in my spare time though.
If they ever allow scripting in GM mode I'll be sure to add in status effects (also my bag should work also if that happens).
I couldn't figure out how to loop an animation using status effects. I messed with it for a couple days, but no luck. If I could use scripts in GM mode I could do it with ease. :(
Oh good. You had me worried.
I updated the description to avoid any confusion going forward. :)
I thought you'd have to use them like consumables or something.
And once again, great mod!
Each character should have their own bag of emotes. You should be able to drag it to your hotbar and then use it from there. If not, please let me know. I hope I didn't break something :S
Unfortunately for me the animations are either not working, or im dumb and don't know how to use them.
I've trying clicking on the emote icons, equiping them and dragging them onto the avatars of my characters but they simply won't play. Am i missing something?
I'll see if I can add some. It may be a while though. The mod is a bit of a mess right now from trying to get the bag to work in GM mode. I read on one of the forum threads that databases don't work in GM mode and this mod relies heavily on them. I'm trying to find a workaround though.
I'll have to make a separate mod for GM mode. The skill version should show up now however.
All of the animations were designed by the developers of the game. I just made them accessible is all. If the animations look strange then there isn't anything I can really do about it unfortunately. Sorry :(
I'll be uploading a majorly different and new version today (as long as no more bugs pop up). It should be compatible with all mods I believe.
@HIKKU
I'm not sure what you mean. Can you elaborate a bit more? sorry.
