Been using this, but as of yet (and after several games) I haven't even come across one eden planet. If it's an actual planet type, there should be at least one such planet in the galaxy. Otherwise, what's the point?

Im using ESG and find a solution thanks to chatGPT. I tested it and it works. It doesnt change the visual bug of FIDSI reduction when you select the terraformation.
In SimulationDescriptors[Firsttt].xml : add this line :
<Modifier TargetProperty="PlanetInitialFIDSPenalty" Operation="Force" Value="0" TooltipHidden="true"/>
inside PlanetTypeCustom11 and PlanetTypeCustom13 just before </SimulationDescriptor>.
You will see the "missing technology" disapear when the game calculate the FIDSI.

For anyone curious in the future, I fixed that issue.
In the mod files, in \Simulation\PlanetColonizationOverEden.xml
I switched the lines

Every Terrraform path has one of those lines.
I took those from the other mod. This makes sure, that you can use mirror terraform, even when you have the regular terrraform techs from a custom race.

Props to this mods author, to actually write comments to neatly structure the code.

Mod still works. The only issue I ran into is, that it doesnt work together with the mod "Terrafor Away", which enables custom Riftborn races with different affinities. You need the other mod for reverse terraforming abd it overrrides this one, so you wont have the MEDEN options anymore. Works fine with regular Riftborn tho.

Biggest problem I am having is this so called "perfect" world seems really likely to spawn with the decidedly imperfect 3 pop slot planet size

The ability to choose, in the user fraction, a unique starting planet. For example, the planets of sophon, or a united empire. Or for example Aurigi or Thor there.

a problem:one can terraform a planet by using a behemoth,but since the normal game does not use any strategic resources for terraformation,they also only use indudtry(if i understand correctly,saw another empire do so)

Found a bug, it will not work in multiplayer when you and restart, it will not allow players to join you. I have specifically located that when you make a custom race with an eden planet it will cause this specific bug to occur. Other than that great idea.

Bug : eden ratio is not correct.
It produces less than atoll or terrian (BINS)
Got all extension maybe not compatible then.

thank you for your advice! it was way too op for those harder A.I.s, so i made it difficult to terraform 1tier plts to EDEN :P

Shouldn't the terraformation into Eden be locked behind Advanced Terraforming tech (terraforming tech from era 4, which allows terraformation into fertile) instead of Primary Terraforming from era 3 ?

Hi, it seems that when you choose eden as your starting planet and you have the "garden of eden" anomaly on it, the planet looks like its about to explode, i mean, it looks with lava rivers and lakes on his surface.

have same bug with custom vaulters, get eden in one system near argosy start point, but cant colony it. in time if turn off nomand perk and start on eden, all work well.

@Demone @MagicJohnson I don't know why, but there is an issue that 'generated' EDEN (the one from the beginning of a game) could not colonized by player. It just 'inhospitable'. I tried to fix that, but the code just does not work..
