nevermind, it just crashed without this addon being installed

im pretty sure it causes my game to randomly crash right when a throwable hits the ground

@Sombody Just unpack it to your L4D2 install location, usually fall under steam/steamapps/common/Left 4 Dead 2

When you unpack it into the game what folder does it go under? I don't know where to unpack the fix in my left 4 dead 2 and I'm wondering if anyone can help

@NgCOCKFIGHT λ I use Windows 10 but yeah lately L4D2 has performance issues with Valve none the wiser though it is chalked to how the game inefficiently render randomized zombies.

But i try this, might alleviate the log spam happened when using custom guns.

I've subscribed it for Legacy Particles Support and M1 Garand Battle Rifle , no errors

If like me, you run Linux, have hundreds of addons and suffer from terrible performance out of nowhere when you should have tournament level performance at all times, try this addon. This thing, not sure what it does or why it does it but without it, I suffer into restarting the game frequently. With it, I can play until I call it quits. I'm guessing some mods I'm subscribed to have silently required this or this is doing something else under the hood that just all around improves performance.

Thank you Urik because without this, this game would just be miserable. I'm so glad I found it <3
