I love the front lights at night, would be nice to enable long lights to?
Love that you can adjust your own sphere, only gripe i have is the endless fuel it have.
It should run on batteries or on gasoline or something, dont you think?
The one thing that makes it a tad OP is putting it in a cryopod. Yes, you can put it in a cryopod! Hahaha~!
And the strange feeling that I have seen this sphere somewhere else before, already. Strange... .-D
ADVISE: add small dirt to the round glass, so people can see that it rotates.
Also try to add leaving a track trace behind. And prevent water from being inside (like a tiny round underwater tek chamber).
sorry for my bad english.
Physics is my preference for games, however I know Ark lacks a lot of that. God I wish I could do a total overhaul mod.
However I like this idea for balancing really, to stop people from being able to use the ball in certain ways, being forced to clamp to the ground is one good disadvantage of the ball, ocean floor and such being a long journey to get somewhere. But then I know your mod was made for observation purposes and more PVE than PVP.

If we still aggro dinos, do we still get damaged by them? I think adding an option to offset the damage to the sphere's healthbar would be fair.
Either way, thanks!
In the next update I will prevent a bunch of debuffs, like stunned/dazed, gashed, gassed, sandstorm, windstorm, bee stings etc that I find make sense to be protected from while inside the Gyrosphere.
That means you will also be immune to stealing from Pegomastax and immune from being pinned down by Raptors and immune to being stunned by Trikes' charge attack.
However, you cannot exceed extremes such as driving into lava or getting enflamed. Sure, the air conditioner can handle extreme temperatures but even that has its limits. If "extreme" is getting "too extreme" for the tiny glass enclosure prepare to be baked alive.
If it does not work for you: Make sure you have the latest update from 12. Sep @ 7:04pm ( <Change Notes> #65)
Enjoy.
this is expected.
The Gyrosphere offers clear vision underwater
also, if a dino has aggro on you, that means, if a dino sees you while you try to go into the Gyrosphere you will not get the Primal Invisibility buff (this is to ensure no cheating and a more immersive approach. This is also why when you do get the buff you have a set timer running before it truly makes you invisible.)
I have tried making Sparkpowder work on the same Turn On/Off button as electricity while the Station keeps checking for both Electricity and fuel simultainously. Although I had quite the success at some point (then lost all progress somehow) it never really truly worked without introducing another bug elsewhere.
So overnight I came with a solution.
The next (and last) update will add a Switch to Fuel/Electricity button to the inventory user-interface enabling the Gyrosphere Station to concentrate all checks on one source or the other, avoiding any bugs when activating it.
The inventory description will also dynamically update its text to show the current mode.
Of course, the button won't show if Only use Electricity is checked by an admin in the configurations.
Best Regards,
Andy
And if you get out of the gyro while under water, then get back in, all dino's can now see you.
Here are the final patchnotes from the recent Singleplayer maintenance:
<Change Notes>
Unfortunately I did not fix it until now because somehow Singleplayer in the game boots up differently than in the devkit environment so I had to find a way fast. I tried to work as fast as possible. Now you know why some other modders don't even allow bugreports from Singleplayer. :)
There will be one last update to clean up some code.
What was fixed?
- (Singleplayer) Fixed a bug that made already placed Gyrosphere Stations appear invisible after loading a save game.
- (Singleplayer) Sparkpowder now correcty turns on the Gyrosphere Station.
- (Singleplayer) If no sparkpowder is left the Gyrosphere Station will now correctly turn off.
Sorry for the inconvinience caused.
I have now fixed already placed GyroSphere Stations being invisible when you load up a singleplayer saved game.
Hopefully fixed.
- (Singleplayer) Stations appear invisible after game restart until picked up and replaced.
Maybe fixed.
- (Singleplayer) Stations cannot run with sparkpowder when "^ Raise" or "v Lower" has been used until picked up and replaced.
These two issues are really weird to fix, because the devkit's testplay isn't similar to Singleplayer. I did not ever had these issues in the devkit.
