I personally have no clue but after the fix in the Highlander that happened "years ago", there was still a person here claiming that they still had the bug even with that Highlander that supposed to fix it. I can't verify it either way so the decision is up to you guys, obviously but I personally will keep the mod on, just in case as it doesn't do anything on its own and might save me a soldier :)

You can unsub from Carry Unit Fix, it's been integrated into Highlander years ago. Gotcha Again has a Redux version.

I've lost three good soldiers because of this bug... I'm hoping this works. I'll be back if it doesn't so if nobody see me anytime soon it's because this works. o7

@dallasbeek - It should be compatible with everything because this doesn't change/replace anything, it adds new skill that is exactly same as built in one, minus the bug.

@[UFKM] truppp I haven't played the game in long time now, but this mod solves the problem in different way than highlander does, it's actually not a fix but a workaround, so if you had the issue again even with highlander, then this mod should help you out with it.

Thanks for the heads up about Highlander. Was just going through my old mods from 2016-17 to finally do a WotC playthrough.

..but now I'm going to have to try to see what else Highlander fixes/changes so I know what mods I don't need to use anymore. Hurf..

Ay everyone, the newest version of the WOTC highlander fixes this bug directly instead of using a workaround, so if you use the highlander you don't need to subscribe to this mod.

Look in the fixes section (#557)

Anyway we can get an MEDIVAC option? I mean if I have the skyranger already deployed why do I have to lose to two members? Where's my Medivac Basket, So I can place the wounded team mate in it and the other can rejoin the fight... and/or most missions allow you to request evac, is there a way we can request a medicvac the sky range comes in and takes off after loading the Causalties? I know the missions are generally short but just a hint of realism...

Like I said I highly doubt it's your mods, prob someone else's (maybe less well made) isn't playing ball, but with 600+ mods it's hard to tell what'll affect each other, I've had random mods (ie voice pack) suddenly start spawning Lost types that were switched off by other mods (The brute from vanilla alongside Howler from World War L, Howler is meant to replace brute).

No, chappy didn't have a medkit, but he was next to stairs. Maybe that did something. As for save, I don't have it anymore as I have my main save (which I don't touch til I know everything's stable) and ironmans I delete when I'm done with a one-shot. Thus the offending one is gone, I ran a quick go after unsubbing & forced Warlock to daze one of my lads & I can give them a healing backrub just fine now.

I've yet to see someone successfully boot a save from my game or stack the full modlist without crashing. Don't sweat it pal, you've done a great job with these, just ignore the ramblings of an unstable man XD

That's really weird. I will look into that, but I'm sure i revived my guys after i created these mods.

Sequel post, I took the mods (Carry and Stabilise) off and now can revive my guys again. As you pointed out I highly doubt it's these mods by thsemselves, it's probably something else having a hissy fit when it notices them pop up. All the best bro and thanks for your help. Also thanks for making these mods, you're saving lives our there!

That's what I thought, it wouldn't make sense, but then neither would any of the other mods, none of which knock the daze ability. Hence I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar issue before I went diving in files. As for modlist, the easy version would be to say "pretty much everything" the longer way would be this link: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1285776993

Going by install time I reckon it's either this, or alternatively Turrets Are Cover but I'm looking into it via trial and error

Well, I don't interact with any of these nor alter any existing ability, only add one, so i would be very surprised if mentioned mods were source of these problems. However, if that happen again, please make a save file in that moment and send it over, with a list of mods you are using (you can export the list from AML).

Cool. I'm using Grimy's non-wotc Hotkeys mod just to disable/hide keys now ("Evac" so far, as EvacAll is much better!) Can now add "CarryUnit"' so thanks.

Sadly overwatch, reload, and hunker down don't work on that old mod. Might you update it for wotc (hotkeys part)?

Doubled ability will show up, but only in certain situations. I will keep searching for a way to fix that.

I'm terribly sorry about this Skarsatai. I done tests on my campaign with previous version and it was working fine, without any errors. However, I did a mistake with one thing and this will never happen again.

@Kuzunkhaa Problem fixed with latest update. Sometimes ability might show up twice (one original and one from this mod). I'm yet to find a way to not show it.

hello .vhs. just to keep you up with your first error. after unsub your mod the next mission crashed as well. so I deleted config files, and a very long filecheck. started a new campaign because the ironsave before was unloadable anymore, on the geoscape on the new campaign after the second scan ( new recruit, new informations and so on) the game stopped. I deleted the game and all mods. after 8 h installing the game and my modlist ( I run 310 mods without problems) deleting all saves and config, started the game from the scratch, now the error is gone. game is stable as before. interesting, what a small fix can cause. :-) what ever this caused it was a severe error.
