@Rowan, theres a mod called XSkin which lets you replace models. You could use it to replace the shot gun model with the crossbow from this mod

This mod is great but the arms it adds are invisible, so if a character gets randomized and has them he ends up being armless

"Weapons can be modified in the mod config folder. Check the COSMETICPISTOL .ini file. Swords unfortunately can't be modified."

Why does the Witcher Sword have a 20 Aim bonus, compared to the vanilla sword? Using it feels like cheating.

The models look great! Thank you. Is there anyway to get the sword to be edited? The BM tier is not on par with the fusion blade (7-9 vs 8-10). Also, why is the crossbow a pistol? Geralt would obviously be a ranger in XCOM times... so his crossbow should be a shotgun. That way he can hold both swords and crossbow. Just some thoughts! Thanks again for the models. Top work.

I'm already mid-campaign at tier-3 weapons, so the swords and crossbow aren't showing up. Any way to use a console command to bypass this? Outfits look great, btw.

Does this actually need Alien hunters DLC? The armors were added in my campaign without it. Don't know yet if the weapons will.

The Witcher swords always appears even when another sword is equipped during battle. Everything displays properly in the character editor and loadout screen, however once you're on the mission, you can see both the equipped model and the Witcher model on the character at the same time.

Just reporting this bug. Great mod and thanks for all your effort!

Patched the mod so it works with Primary Secondaries new animations. Expect an update soon-ish to give the hand crossbow an actual bolt projectile.

This mod doesn't reference classes at all. It's just a pistol. If it's not showing up on other classes for you then it's likely a problem on your end, as my install and all other users I'm aware of can use it fine with custom classes that use pistols.

why is the witcher crossbow pistol only available for sharpshooters??? i checked all vanilla classes and custom classes i'm subbed, and only the sharpshooter can use the crossbow pistol???

pls change this to make it anyone with pistol access able to use the crossbow

Yeah my preliminary designs for the class are for 3 class trees focusing on purely martial attacks (rapid fire, fan fire cone attack, AOE rain of arrows, etc), specialized arrows (fire, explosive, etc) and passive and utility abilities

I think the bow from Crysis 3 would certainly be an great addition. And combined with different arrow ammunition (explosive, poisonous, fire, stunning arrows, etc...) It could be an entire new game-play mechanic that would work well with this game.

I've got a bow and arrow mod in the works (very early production) right now so I might expect a full on medieval pack at some point in the future with european style bows and crossbows and swords and shields and spears and the whole shebang. A little hesitant to do that just because of the "DEUS VULT" chuds tho.

@Deadput, I was referring to Mushashi's Katanas, which is a GREAT sword pack. However, they are all Japanese swords, and I was sorely missing Western style swords.

What Japanese swords? The TLP ones in the last two tiers sort of are yeah but the first tier is a Kukri which in itself is not Japanese but Indian, the Vanilla swords aren't Japanese in the slightest, their obviously based off Machetes.

Without Alien Hunters the hand crossbow's shots effects will be missing. As long as you don't use it you should be able to use the rest of the pack without issue

Little problem here: The witcher swords always appears aven when not equiped. Then even appears when using the throw axe special capacity of the DLC weapon.

anyone else not seeing the new characters to import to the character pool? I am not sure how it works, so I checked in a new game in the recruit/view soldiers and still could not find how to recriut either, and didnt see the swords at all
