@red10ish I don't have a problem with you making that mod for private use, but if you want to release something based on this mod you're gonna have to credit me and use this mod as a requirement rather than copying the DLL.

So up date soon I hope I just got the HALO armor mod but it dont have shealds so was gona combine the mods make my own sparton with a couple of bionic mods to

I'm running into a frequent bug where colonists wearing ranged shield belts are getting injured by their own weapons. It doesn't seem to matter which gun they're using; about 30% of the time, they shoot themselves with it.

@NannyOgg Yes you can, as you can with pretty much any mod that just adds new defs.

@B9802214 This is not a bug. Shield energy lost on taking a hit is multiplied by a static value so it won't be the same as the damage weapons deal.

AK-12(RT weapon) has 16 damage one shot.
But Ranged Shield get about 50 damage.
Almost 3 times , it's a bug?

@bearhiderug Looks like I misread your issue. You were getting some debug text I had left in accidentally; I've updated the mod to remove it.

@bearhiderug Is it a "Hunter has shield" or "Pawn has shield and ranged weapon" error? I can't seem to reproduce it. Try forcing the mod to update by unsubscribing and resubscribing.

I still get the message that a hunter has a ranged weapon and shield equipped even when using the ranged shield belt, is this fixable?

@TheFalcon67 The QR and heavy shields should work perfectly fine because they inherit the vanilla class, so they would only fail to work if CE overrides the vanilla shield belt with a new class rather than overriding the vanilla one. As for the ranged shield, that's a bit less predictable, but it should work if the other two do.

Basically, just test it; I would, but I have limited free time atm as I have a number of important tests coming up. Report back what you find if you do test it.

With all the other mods out there involving armor, I can't believe I haven't seen a better vanilla-like shield one! Bravo!
