Your icons look great! May I use them for my mod?

Sadly nobody'll be making a 3.4 patch for this
ExNihil  [author] Apr 22, 2021 @ 5:52am
I'm no longer modding, but anyone who is interested is welcome to update and republish this or any parts of it.

Hi Buddies
Anybody working on rebirth or re-mod this jewel? :)
Greetings

Damn, can't belive this entire series is incompatible now. Such a shame.
TrueGuardian32 May 24, 2020 @ 5:58pm
Maybe one day they will stop screwing modders.
Mask of Humble Apr 14, 2020 @ 8:10pm
I loved this mod back in the day, sadly tho I'm enjoying the current version of the game to much to go back Y-Y

Paradox are Terrorists.
They kill this mod.
DroZzhat Mar 30, 2020 @ 1:45pm
Alright, thank ya kindly. I'll poke him on the discord.
Gratak  [author] Mar 30, 2020 @ 1:40pm
No problem from my side and I remember Ex saying that he is also fine with this before he left. You might want to ask Dumuzii as some of the assets are from him and afaik he doesn't read this.
DroZzhat Mar 30, 2020 @ 1:30pm
Would you mind if I used the art assets from CGM in something I'm working on? You'd be credited and I'd link to the source of course. I'm really just adding things that seem cool/useful to my mod at random according to my own tastes, so I doubt it'll get very popular, but I enjoy it.

Not until Paradox makes it possible, the which seems extremely unlikely at this point.
Sniggledorf Fumpledink Mar 19, 2020 @ 4:00pm
will this mod be updated?
Gratak  [author] Mar 9, 2020 @ 3:51pm
Still being ignored by Paradox, see below. Not working beyond 2.1.
Huntsman Mar 9, 2020 @ 1:18pm
Still being worked on?

Fine, I'll amend my statement. "Pining for the fjords."
Gratak  [author] Jun 14, 2019 @ 6:20am
It is currently fully non-compatible with 2.3 (or 2.2). I wouldn't call it dead yet, but see comments below on why we haven't updated (yet). The sitation hasn't changed with 2.3
Ghost Fox Jun 14, 2019 @ 3:14am
@Spirit
Dead.
Spirit Jun 14, 2019 @ 3:01am
2.3 compatible ? i hope so
Gratak  [author] Mar 24, 2019 @ 2:08am
I see now why you'd say the thread is deleted. They moved it to the Suggestion forum some time ago. And that forum is only available if you login to a Paradox account (that needs to be connected to a Steam account to show you own Stellaris). So:
"Maybe some people know my autobuild mod.
I did it to automate some of the boring management processes in the game and concentrate on those aspects that interest me.
But in the new patch, this command was removed.

Therefore, in this topic, I ask the developers to return command to give functions for the construction and upgrade of buildings, districts, starbase buildings, blocker clearing etc.
So that I can update my mod and my hand did not suffer (maybe it’s just me, but it really click intensive, probably more then 2.1) any more while playing stellaris." [had]

Nevertheless, I advice to create a Paradox account and add to the thread. More people writing there might bring Paradox to actually bringing back the command.

Forum topic deleted, can in brief explain what is happening with the mod?
Gratak  [author] Mar 21, 2019 @ 10:49am
Still not a single word by Paradox about the missing command :/
SuNseT`gReeN Mar 21, 2019 @ 5:43am
Is there any news about the mod update?
Grimbus Feb 17, 2019 @ 11:02am
I've been trying to find mods for more ascension perks but its been proving difficult
Grimbus Feb 17, 2019 @ 11:02am
I honestly love 2.1.x its so much easier to micromanage things rather than the dreaded 2.2.x
Gratak  [author] Feb 10, 2019 @ 11:36pm
Still no comment from Paradox...
Priam Feb 10, 2019 @ 7:32pm
Any news? The micro managing is starting to drive me insane
Priam Jan 10, 2019 @ 4:19pm
I can't wait to see this mod updated! It seriously feels like my game hates me without it.
{DBD} MisledTurkle Jan 3, 2019 @ 11:59am
I cant wait to see my favorite mod updated. Take as long as you need and thank you for all the previous versions :)

Will you update the mod to 2.2?

@all:
Please support the plea for reintroduction of the "start building construction" command to Stellaris:

Feel free to join the "Stellaris Modding Den" discord channel (invite link see above). We have a channel for the cgm mods there where we can discuss more.

2.2 needs this so bad, the 'sector AI' somehow managed to get _worse_. I'd like to offer to help, I think I've found an optimal build strategy that generalizes to any empire type. It's complicated with a bunch of break outs depending on various critical resource shortages, etc., but I think it's comprehensive.

Send me a message if you'd like to discuss, I'm also happy to lend a hand coding (although I've never worked on Stellaris mods before, but I'm a professional coder so I suspect I can figure it out.)
Gratak  [author] Dec 12, 2018 @ 3:05pm
Well actually the continuation of the mod first depends on Paradox reintroducing a command to start a building construction. For some strange reason they removed that one :P
Gratak  [author] Dec 12, 2018 @ 10:09am
Can't promise anything atm. But after my first round of vanilla, it seems a good autobuild is needed at least as much as before 2.2. so chances of me updating this mod have certainly increased.

But it will take quite some time. I basically have to start from scratch.
WariousGaming Dec 12, 2018 @ 1:12am
This mod is in making of being updated to 2.2 or not? ;) I personally doesn't know this mod before and used Auto Build mod by user Had and this one is on a next level of autobuilding and AI handling empire as far as i can read from description :O
Gratak  [author] Dec 7, 2018 @ 10:35am
certainly
Pamparampampamparam Dec 7, 2018 @ 8:35am
I'm assuming it will take time to get this mod to work with the new building system.
Gratak  [author] Dec 5, 2018 @ 11:40pm
I had hoped I had fixed that bug multiple times. It seems to have always been a very hard to catch one:
1. It usually only appeared in combination with other mods.
2. I was often not even able to reproduce it when activating the same mods as the guys that had the problem.
Full routines is of course not supposed to have this behavior. If it does for you, you indeed need to switch away to another option.
Milamber Dec 5, 2018 @ 3:53pm
Great mod but I just noticed something about the AI in my game with this mod running, there seems to be many empires which are not developing their planets fully even though they have a massive store of minerals and the planets are fully occupied with pops. It looks like they are building just the new buildings such as a XenoFauna studies and upgrading their shelters to Planetary Capitals, but not building Mining Complex or Isotope Refinery etc. There are however some empires that do not have this issue, but they seem to be the minority. So I tried switching the AI and Autobuild setting to mixed and immediately one of the AI empires with the issue I was watching started building on the planetary squares it was neglecting. It seems like it should build on these squares anyway on the default full setting and that its not behaving correctly, unless I'm missing something?
Gratak  [author] Dec 5, 2018 @ 10:34am
If it's not in the list of supported mods then no. Automated construction is gonna overbuild those tiles as if they had no special resource. Stellaris is lacking a check for "has any special resource". And since the update that is gonna break this mod is coming tomorrow, I won't add any more supported mods, sorry.
Energywelder Dec 5, 2018 @ 8:29am
Does this work with Girion's Expanded Stellaris Traditions? That mod adds "Rare Minerals" which are like Betharian Stone for minerals, special building and everything.
mltuigarinjmmayberad Nov 28, 2018 @ 1:27pm
Alright, thanks. I hope the modding for 2.2 goes well :)
