@ErManuele: This is because the Italian translation is incomplete as you have discovered. Because de_DE comes first in the alphabet the localisation text defaults to German if an entry is missing for a particular language. You would think that it would default to en_US this being an American made game but that's not how the code works. The English translation is in fact complete and is the one you should use as the master to identify any missing entries.

I use the italian version of the game. Some units (like, for example, the galleasse or the trebuchet), in game have german names and descriptions.

I then opened with notepad the italian language localization .xml file and noticed that it's much shorter than the german or english ones; besides there is no reference to galleass or trebuchet in the text (nor to their italian equivalents).

I can only assume that some (a lot?) of units translated text is missing in the italian localization file. I can translate the text from english, but I can assume, from some tests I made, that neither the english file is complete (and I think that's why my game displays german names from some units).

I would like to offer my help to translate all the textes from english but I need a complete english file that I could edit with notepad or some instructions to do it differently.

wish there was a panzer IV unit since it was the most produced tank for Germany in world war 2 and a stug tank. also wish enginers or infantry could dig trenches for a fortification and see something resembling that would be cool.

Steel and Thunder:Unit Expansion is now updated and fully working in base game, Rise & Fall and Gathering Storm. Steel and Thunder:Unique Units is going to be a little while longer.

Excuse me, which mod, units expansion or unique units should I install first?

Sometimes these new unique units cannot upgrade to the new expanded ones, such as war canoe cannot upgrade to cog (but viking longship can), domrey cannot upgrade to bombard (but Hui Hui Pao can), schutterij cannot upgrade to rifleman (but musketman and conquistador can), tadzreuli cannot upgrade to cuirassier (but knight and other ones replaced knight can). This bothered me for a few days.

@pauloel7: The "ERROR: Attempted to evaluate a path for a mod" is not an issue. It's because I have removed all the Animations and Textures that are already in the base game from the mod to keep it light in terms of file size. Although this error is produced, the mod functions perfectly well without them. The Japanese Localisation issue I will investigate. Thanks!

@AhriBot @Kurnn As mentioned previously, if you read the description of Steel & Thunder: Unique Units you can bring back all the other units from Moar Units such as the Tiger I by editing the .sql file.

@Alex McJuicy: Yes, the two mods don't have any connection. You should either use Moar or Steel and Thunder not both. :)
