@King Yor: You don't have to ask permission. It's a free mod. If you want to update then just take it and update it. Free mods are free for anyone to do anything they wish with them.

The alpha raptor is extremely fast, and you will most likely never escape one unless you have a flying mount. If you find yourself in a fight with an alpha raptor head for the water, the alpha raptor will almost always be slower than you in water. The alpha raptor also deals massive amounts of damage, so if you are not ready to fight one, it is highly recommended to not approach it.

Unlike regular raptors, Alpha Raptors do not pounce so there is no worry for it dismounting you from your tame. This does not stop other raptor allies from joining the fight and pouncing you as well.

Okay I got it working, saw "Old Raptor" spawn in the wild, so it is spawning, they're just not common. And they do spawn on Ragonark.

Alphas cant pounce....would be too strong...
at least, I NEVER got pounced by them, even when getting bitten by them to death.

So even with your mod, wild alpha raptors will still have "raptor pounce" ? Guess I'm disabling alpha raptors too, then. I'll be doing testing with your mod here tonight and might intregrate it in to our new ragonark server tonight.

Yes, and the Tek Raptor is a separete creature, so if the regualar Raptor is disabled, it won't affect the Tek version. Nop, only the tamable version :/

Questions. So if I want to use only your raptors in our server, would I enable your mod, and then disable raptors in our server config, and then do a wild respawn and then only your raptors would come in, correct? But if I do this, will this also disable Tek Raptors?

I personally agree....nostalgia is the main thing why I want those mods....BUT THIS STUPID NEW RAPTOR GRAP CAN ♥♥♥♥ OFF!!!! GET OUT OF MY LIVE NEW RAPTOR.....but the disign is quite nice. I mean the bear is a bear, not a teddy bear anymore!

is there a version that replaces the vanilla version? Reason is i spent who knows how many hours breeding a ton of raptors for skills and color and now i find the new version looks so stupid, the feathers look ridiculous and there colors are now all washed out

The new versions are certainly superior but some people want to use the old creatures more before the move on

I make these mods, so that old players can experience some nostalgia. Not because i think the older versions are superior. That's also why it's Standalone ^^

does this replace the new one, or will the new ones spawn too. tbh i like both, so want both in my world. just a question anyway :D
