the modder hasnt replied for like 3 years dont think hes going to now aha! was gonna ask for Fots samurai ki so the ai are more inclined to recruit samurai...

I hope this mod works... but here are the major points i wanted to say: tnx, for making this mod, cause the vanilla units are way too expensive for that kind of performance maybe because i usually have half japan conquered in less than 15 years and using not real mods.. and only ashigaru units best price/performance - until that mod.. :D

I think that clan-boosted units need to be edited sepparately, since they count as different units than the regular ones.

I don't use this mod, it's only for people :)

well instead of getting this mod and ruin a fine game you can always buy: age of empires 2 and typ in robin hood and the other brilliant combinations... and until you are bored with that dont start shogun ^^ its a realistic strategy-game and should stay that way = my opinion :)

If you need this you can't play the game right or cant build an economy its just a cheat.

Kudos to the founder of this discovery! it works great..gives ya an edger against the AI..Don't know why the game is set that the other clans go against you and never can get them back through diplomacy.

Slay the archers is right, in the data files Clan Specialized Samurai units go under a different name. "Inf_Missile_Bow_Samurai" affects bow samurai for most clans, but "Inf_Missile_Bow_Samurai_Chosokabe" is the data that affects the chosokabe special samurai.

I'm curious, did you make this because you actually thought it was unbalanced or just to make it easier on you when making Samurai?

I believe the units for "Special bonus for samurai" are acutally seperate units. If you modified the cost through each unit to make this, you could try searching for "Chosokaba Bow Samurai" and "Shimazu Katana Samurai" I believe they have all seperate info from "Generic Bow Samurai" ect. But I never looked into the game files myself in detail. Hope this helps =) This mod makes it sound like it would make the game more the the origanal with massive armies =D

this mod is very useful it makes it so that i don't have to spend 1000s on 5 samurai that will die in the next battle and eat away at my treasurey
