I’m currently reworking all the French files to get a complete and consistent translation for using the mod… it’s already well underway :)

@Bulcsú: Yes.
Mészáros Feb 1 @ 10:43am
is this compatible with ET?
LimonenZitrone  [author] Dec 30, 2024 @ 1:43pm
@johnscar90: It probably won't crash, but there most likely are at least small incompatibilities.
johnscar90 Dec 30, 2024 @ 11:49am
does this work on europa expanded?
TurtleShroom Oct 13, 2024 @ 8:02pm
I found the culprit. This is the Mod that breaks it: https://www.steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1685493182 .
TurtleShroom Oct 12, 2024 @ 7:43pm
I'm not aware of any other Mod that changes Reforms, but I will check and get back to you.
LimonenZitrone  [author] Oct 12, 2024 @ 6:13pm
@TurtleShroom: Sounds like you have a mod active that overwrites reforms from vanilla but isn't up to date.

I am experiencing a bug where EVERY SINGLE PRINCE is SIMULTANEOUSLY INELIGIBLE to become the Holy Roman Emperor. Once the Emperor dies, the HRE commits suicide. It says that EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING has the wrong Government Type.
TurtleShroom Oct 12, 2024 @ 10:23am
Ah, I didn't know that happened in RL. Never mind, then.
LimonenZitrone  [author] Oct 11, 2024 @ 6:45pm
@TurtleShroom: It is included for two reasons: 1) That's one thing the Golden Bull did. 2) Balance. The Golden Bull gives some good bonuses, so you are supposed to make sure the composition of Electors matches, or you get maluses from that.
You can edit the triggers of the diplo action in your local version, if you want to, tho.
TurtleShroom Oct 11, 2024 @ 6:13pm
No no, I meant that a rule could be set that allows for Electors to not be balanced between theocracies and other realms. That's just dumb to forbid that from happening. If I am the Holy Roman Empire and I appoint an Elector, I should appoint whoever I want.
LimonenZitrone  [author] Oct 11, 2024 @ 3:59pm
@TurtleShroom: No, and a peace wouldn't really make sense without a war where both sides are kinda equal. Enacting Erbkaisertum before leagues always enacts peace tho. And you can just not enact or remove the golden bull after it was established.
TurtleShroom Oct 11, 2024 @ 1:41pm
Also, if the League Wars NEVER FIRE, will this Mod establish the Treaty of Westphalia instead of dominant Catholicism? I am sick of Catholics winning every time if the Protestants don't have the manpower.
TurtleShroom Oct 11, 2024 @ 1:40pm
> This will restrict the prince-electors to be 4 secular princes and 3 ecclesiastical princes of the HRE and will reduce imperial authority, if there are too many electos of one category

Can I get rid of this somehow? This is dumb to me.
LimonenZitrone  [author] Oct 1, 2024 @ 5:51pm
@アスベル: Isn't Anbennar a fantasy overhaul mod? So very unlikely.
アスベル Oct 1, 2024 @ 5:31pm
does this work with anbennar?
LimonenZitrone  [author] Aug 21, 2024 @ 3:25pm
@Sloshi: If you want to translate it, sure. What exactly do you mean by Imperial Diet, the votes for Imperial Reforms? Cause that isn't changeable then, that is locked to 1 vote per member.
Sloshi Aug 21, 2024 @ 10:22am
Hi, it's been a while since I've played EUIV, but I remember this mod as being a high quality addition to the game.
One thing that has always bothered me a lot was the way the Diet worked, giving each Imperial Estate an equal "vote" ; for example the votes of the Imperial Cities were not as binding as those of the other Imperial Estates, if not at all, and some smaller counties had a college vote rather than a full individual vote.
I really don't know much about EUIV modding, but do you think it would be possible to change the behaviour of the Imperial Diet itself ? Like setting a weight that could be less than 1 for some Estates.

Furthermore, I see that there is no full French translation ; do you accept external contributions ? I would be glad to translate the mod !

I see, thanks for answering.
LimonenZitrone  [author] Jul 3, 2024 @ 2:43pm
@5AN71AG0: It needs the first imperial reform to be enacted and you have to be part of the HRE and not have a recency as the emperor. Then it should fire in one of those ages.
5AN71AG0 Jul 3, 2024 @ 6:43am
I played throughout the age of discovery and reformation and the golden bull event never fired, I'm using the Emperor DLC. Did I misunderstand how it works or is something conflicting with the mod? I'm using all the extended mod family and all DLCs.
Larry20 Jun 5, 2024 @ 3:40pm
i have played other nations then just emperor and i dont see the buying for elector; i only see a cb for the electorship. it might be from EE mod themselves or it might be from asking for the kingdom title? and the imperial archoffice stuff: i get it tbh but i would like it to be filled
LimonenZitrone  [author] Jun 5, 2024 @ 11:08am
@Larry20: Don't think they changed anything about the decisions. Just most are not visible if you are the Emperor, cause you want to bribe or ask the Emperor. And you can grant Imperial Archoffices if you are an Elector as Emperor. You just can't grant all 8, because you are an Elector. Meaning you won't get the additional bonus from granting all offices, however considering you can literally vote for yourself and don't have to rely on up to 4 electors is good enough so you don't need the extra bonus.
Larry20 Jun 5, 2024 @ 10:54am
they took off the vanilla decision then? and you cant be a elector and emperor at the same time i guess for the imperial Archoffice stuff
LimonenZitrone  [author] Jun 5, 2024 @ 10:24am
@Larry20: Nothing about the vanilla decisions for buying/asking for Electorship is changed in the mod. And you cannot give yourself an Imperial Archoffice, it's granted by diplomatic action to possible targets.
Larry20 Jun 5, 2024 @ 10:08am
you cant ask for electorship from the Emperor anymore when you make a elector a vassel and when you do golden bull and you are the emperor and a elector you cant put yourself in Imperial Archoffices or pick someone to be your Imperial Archoffices
LimonenZitrone  [author] Jun 3, 2024 @ 4:12pm
@R: If I see that right that is a map graphics mod. I think that should be compatible.
R Jun 3, 2024 @ 4:10pm
HI,
Theatrum Orbis Terrarum.

Thanks. I see there is a lot of mods in this family so I posted the quesiton for all of them as I see certain mods are not compatible. Appreciate the reassurance.
LimonenZitrone  [author] Jun 3, 2024 @ 4:08pm
@R: It is compatible with ET. I don't know what TOT is.
R Jun 3, 2024 @ 4:05pm
Is this compatible with Extended TImeline and TOT?
LimonenZitrone  [author] May 11, 2024 @ 5:16pm
@Gr8 Maniac: Did their ruler die perhaps? Or you are no longer neighbors?
Gr8 Maniac May 11, 2024 @ 4:52pm
Would anyone happen to know why when I use imperial ban against austria i lose the CB against them after a couple of in game days?
LimonenZitrone  [author] May 11, 2024 @ 5:11am
@Bati: Theoretically it should work except for the scripted gui in the HRE window. If you just delete the HRE gui file and the file in common/custom_gui it should be fine.
Bati May 10, 2024 @ 8:10pm
Hey, thank you for your work. Is it possible to get the previous version of the mod? is there any repository or something? I would like to stay on 1.36 until most mods are updated.
XavierCZe May 6, 2024 @ 11:58am
The last update is November, so please a new version. Thank you
LimonenZitrone  [author] May 5, 2024 @ 2:13pm
@XavierCZe: Update for what? It is updated.
XavierCZe May 5, 2024 @ 12:23pm
pls update thx
LimonenZitrone  [author] May 4, 2024 @ 7:28am
@The Spectre of Communism: It's an old screenshot from when it used to look like that.
The Spectre of Communism May 4, 2024 @ 4:42am
why does the tenth image have a weird policy UI?
LimonenZitrone  [author] May 1, 2024 @ 12:13pm
@Delmarquis: The imperial privileges are a decision. They fire an event to pick. Are the decisions showing up?
Delmarquis May 1, 2024 @ 9:34am
Hey , love the mod , but the events to grant the imperial prilivegia is not launching , is there a way to have the ID ?
LimonenZitrone  [author] Feb 10, 2024 @ 6:23pm
@TheGodUncle: it is an event. If the triggers are met, it will fire eventually.
TheGodUncle Feb 10, 2024 @ 5:16pm
I triggered the event but I still can't add them to the hre and they can't join the hre by themselves either.
LimonenZitrone  [author] Feb 10, 2024 @ 4:11pm
@TheGodUncle: The event fires for the subject if it is a vassal, march or personal union, their capital is in Europe and they are Catholic, Protestant, Reformed or Hussite, and they border the HRE. Also either the overlord has to be the Emperor, they must not be a personal union or the Emperor DLC is not active (cause for this case of a PU of a member there is an imperial incident in vanilla). And the country is limited to max 200 development until a human player has become Emperor and had an event to allow for higher developed subjects to join. If you want to trigger that event in case you haven't had it yet, the ID is besseres_hrr_events.36
TheGodUncle Feb 10, 2024 @ 3:59pm
I'm trying to add my vassals so it's not through war. How can I trigger that event?
LimonenZitrone  [author] Feb 10, 2024 @ 3:51pm
@TheGodUncle: Not via war or something, no. I do have an event to add larger subjects tho. But that is unrelated to the restrictions of the CB.
TheGodUncle Feb 10, 2024 @ 3:12pm
Does this mod allow you to add larger nations to the hre? I tried modding it myself but I'm just not able to add any country with more than 200 development.
Settra Jan 31, 2024 @ 6:27am
I'll look into it. Thank you. :)
Melvasul Jan 31, 2024 @ 2:56am
Yeah, might be the Charles V of Spain events...
but it should check about Austria being AI and free_or_tributary
