this mod made it so that vampire coast basically isnt available in my game, they dont appear in campaign nor can i select them for campaign but i can still select them in customs, does this mod mess with dlc factions somehow?

This mod is incompatible with the Queen and the Crone. If you use this mod it will make it so that certain new armies like Alith Anar won't even appear on the campaign map.

@Setr Awesome, so glad I came across that post, wouldnt of got into modding without it!

@Birthday Bug Good spot, I forgot to change the unique mors building to skavenblight when I made that mod, I'll update it today and make sure it's included in my Pestilens mod too. Clan Rictus however doesn't have a unique clan building like Pestilens and Mors. I'm looking at doing a overhaul mod on rictus, including making a headquarters building and swapping out Tretch Craventail for Clanlord Kratch Doomclaw (once I figure out how to access character_skill_nodes_tables, anyone know why I can't open that up in PFM?).

@author You need to change the faction unique buildings otherwise the clans start out without one of their most important buffs.

Hey this is actually the guy from that reddit thread that requested the guide from the OP! I'm so happy someone put it to good use and moved the start positions. Already started a campaign using this. Looking forward to your Pestilens Skavenblight start and the Hell Pit mod, they'd open up all kinds of new Skaven campaign oppurtunities.

@game wargel worksfine, startpos doesnt edit food, and theres several pasture setllements nearby to boot!

Great idea and I'm excited to test it out.

I don't make mods but I do have a reccomendation - Cyrnos has a mod that starts crooked moon, queek, or the dwarf trying to take eight peaks at eight peaks that is only a script. You could probably do the same with this mod if you wanted to make it compatible with start position mods.

I dont get why the Warhammer team did not release the Skavenblight faction instead of clan Rictus. So big thnx to you!!
I tested it out with SFO and some other more basic mods but it did not work sadly :(

I give this mod a big like, even if I haven't played it yet. However, I just had a playthrough from Skavenblight with the faction unlocker and -oh boy- it was beautiful. So much variations with the neighbours, even more with the TEB mod. Since I don't like the starting position of Clan Rictus, this is a fantastic idea to have a thrilling start and the advantaged of the new Legendary Lord.

Thanks for the quick reply, and good to hear they'll be alright :) I haven't played vanilla Rictus start yet but from other Warhammer media I don't really associate Skaven with Naggaroth either, so getting to ravage the Empire sounds like a much more entertaining than figting the Dark Elves.

Thank you so much! This is my first mod for Warhammer.

Rictus is fine in pretty much every climate except for Island, chaos wastes and Jungle, so there's basically nothing within a long distance other than Ulthuan that they can't settle.

I kinda found Clan Rictus' start to be probably the least interesting start in the game, they really seem to be lacking a motivation for starting in Naggaroth, whereas a Skavenblight start gives them a great chance to build up and then swarm into the Empire from The Vaults.

Would love to see if I could get this working with the Southern Realms mod, would be great fun tearing through those factions.

Congrats on the mod, about time you could start in Skavenblight if you wished it! The mod page doesn't mention altering Clan Rictus' climate prepositions though. Are they going to have a hard time in this part of the world?
