Keep up the good work, it's your mods along with WhatisSol, that make this game so much fun to still play.
Unfortunately Wargaming completely abandoned support for this game long ago. None of the original developers have worked on the game for more than 6 years. They completely ghosted the fanbase for the game and have not responded to a single question in that time. I can say with certainty they would not be willing to do any work to make this kind of modding possible.
Is this something we could do a petition for and send it to the developer? I realize that the game is going to be 8 years old this year so they may not even have the desire to revisit that at all.

Just wanted to pass it along if you do a future update at some point. The rest of it looks really good, and otherwise looks and runs fine.
The alternate hull designs are only for 5X and only work with its added hull types. The new icons show up in the fleet select menu.
The DSMP icons are basically just for the diverse specials added by that mod.
(manual installation):
1. Extract the Custom 5X Assets.zip file.
2. Navigate to the Master of Orion install folder, and go to MasterOfOrion_Data\StreamingAssets.
3. Copy the assets folder that was extracted from the .zip file into the StreamingAssets folder, merging it with the existing assets folder.
4. Move the Custom 5X Assets folder to the Mods folder and activate the mod in game. Make sure the mod is below 5X in the mods menu in game.
There is no "Custom 5X Assets" folder.

I noticed what might be a small bug. When looking in the tech tree, it looks like the custom icons display on the tech nodes, but when you hover the cursor over the node and a little bubble appears giving a few more details on the techs available, the new icons don’t show up in the bubble, just the text. Advanced fusion is a good example.
Not sure if you are still working on this, but just wanted to pass it along.

Do you know of a way to configure the vanilla ModelledGalaxyData.yaml that would allow wormholes to appear in a Spiral or Cluster galaxy types? I've tried quite a few settings by mimicking the minBlackHoles/allowBlackHoles values from Circle into the individual sector headings for Spiral, but it always hangs the galaxy generator.
Instead of wasting hours brute force testing, I figured I'd just ask you first :) I'm trying to get it where you can have unstable warp points on the map as normal, but also have a slight chance of a wormhole existing as well.
