Hello, firstly thanks for doing all of this.

Just wondering if there is way to access the pdfs outside of the game (Downloading them or be sent them) I actually backed the kickstarter years ago but only got around to trying to play it now. Found that the rules and all the campaign books for the core box and stretch goals weren't in it. Tried contacted CMON but they haven't been helpful yet.

The stage was used for quick game setup and loading of missions. If I set things up correctly they shouldn't be NEEDED to run the game, it'll just mean things have to be set up manually. I'll see if I can put some work into this in the future to make things easier.
kamesenin888 Jan 19 @ 3:11pm
Hello sorry, to bother you the sites.google links are down, the ignore, ignore me and the stage images are broken, are the images important?
Kagekaze  [author] May 14, 2020 @ 2:00pm
I've been using these for the figurines:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=891993501

and if you can probably see the image work I use to make them are just the artwork on the player mats. Some are easy to pull out but others take a lot of time since I've been making them transparent images and not just large boxes.

If anyone wants to pick it up, that'd be fine and I can incorporate everything into the mod so it's all in one place with credit, of course. I don't have the raw image files I was using on hand at the moment, it's on another computer, but I can try to upload those somewhere to give everyone a rough idea what I was doing with it and save some time.

@author Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was complete or not. Can't wait to try it!

As sleeve81 asked, is there any way we could help make the standees happen? I'd be happy to scan or edit PC images to whatever format or size you need to help get them into the game- I have the boxed game or could use game art since I don't know how you'd turn minis into standees otherwise. Please let me know if I can help!
iamglory May 9, 2020 @ 7:54pm
How does one help you get things scanned. I just got a copy of the physical game and it's brand new. I just have no idea how to help someone scan things.
Fiore81 May 5, 2020 @ 1:58pm
gran bel gioco.. ho la versione in scatola ma non sono mai riuscito a giocare con qualcuno per via del poco tempo a disposizione... la versione digitale è molto più sbrigativa. la trovo completa in tutte le sue parti. molto ben fatta. Complimenti :))
Kagekaze  [author] May 5, 2020 @ 11:29am
@Beaubalicious If I recall correctly, the game should be functionally complete and playable with the only things missing are Standees for the dozens of player characters. Thankfully they can be represented with colored player pawns (I know it doesn't look as nice but functionally there shouldn't be any problems).

With work being fairly hectic it's hard to get time and motivation to align. I'll see if I can't put more work into it. Please let me know if anything appears missing as it's been some time since I've worked on this and my memory is hazy.
Beaubalicious May 5, 2020 @ 8:50am
Any plans to continue work on this? It's one of my favorite games and I'd love to be able to play it with friends online! Thanks for your work on this.

Updated character selection tiles added
Kagekaze  [author] Dec 3, 2018 @ 7:23pm
I'm pushing out some major updates. PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK ON THE SELECTION TILES. Specifically I want to know if people like characters divided by class. I'd also like to be sure everyone is okay with the design of the map and villain dash board selectors. Thank you!
Kagekaze  [author] Dec 2, 2018 @ 6:46am
The $%@! campaign books are square and just big enough to not fit inside the bed of my scanner. lovely. Thankfully the edges have a good amount of unimportant space so I think I can work around this....

crud, the cloud link isn't letting me get the model information from the new link:

@phenomen

Was wondering if you had a chance to look into the base tinting issue. I found this doc which has some description on how to do it. I'm getting ready to start importing figures so was hoping to see if you had a solution before I started :)

Just finishing cutting out a figurine image for "Ambassador Nail"... took so long to get the details i can only hope that the work is at least somewhat appreciated :D
Kagekaze  [author] Oct 31, 2018 @ 5:20am
Okay, so work's been ever increasing but should stabalize soon. In the meantime I DID finish cutting the cards and extracting the images for standees for the Arcanist Extras. not sure when i'll get a chance to import them (I want to change the figs to remove that line) but hopefully Soon™
Kagekaze  [author] Oct 1, 2018 @ 6:05pm
Yes, I'm working on it when I get time, but work has been requiring overtime. If it was just a few cards, I could probably finish pretty quickly, but part of the problem is having to make figurines as well. I'm not great or fast at GIMP and using the forground tool to extract pictures takes me quite awhile per card.

The game is playable for at least the main campaign. I 'm working on adding the kickstarter and expansions at this time.
Lena Oct 1, 2018 @ 4:54pm
Is this one still in development?
Sir_Charles Jul 23, 2018 @ 5:20am
Great! looking forward for update
Kagekaze  [author] Jul 23, 2018 @ 4:36am
Was away visiting family for a couple weeks. I've resumed some work but it's been slow going. Just didn't want anyone to think I just dropped everything :)
Kagekaze  [author] Jun 26, 2018 @ 4:20am
probably going to rerelease very soon as v1.0 which has the base game content. will update over time, but things are taking longer than I intended and I'd rather get the word out that at least something is playable :)

It's going to take me time to get the rest of the characters, agents, and then also turn them into figurines.
Kagekaze  [author] Jun 18, 2018 @ 8:00am
@Phenomen Thanks for those model fixes, I started to try them out and found the bases are rotated just a little bit. Not a big deal, I saved everything as a template so I can change them with very little time lost :) Any luck on getting the bases tintable?
Kagekaze  [author] Jun 12, 2018 @ 7:59am
New activation cards in. I made two flavors, one deck combined of all the cards and two smaller decks to try and reduce compression from the TTS recommended image size limits. I think the SPLIT decks have less distortion, wondering if anyone feels the same.
Kagekaze  [author] Jun 6, 2018 @ 7:03pm
I think it would work best if it was the whole base. games like RS it's easier to see figures when the base is distinct. So if a Kami or Monster were to change hands, you can tell at a glance who owns it.
Phen Jun 6, 2018 @ 4:28am
You need the whole base to be tintable or its side only?
Kagekaze  [author] Jun 5, 2018 @ 6:01pm
And honestly I can't thank you enough for providing feedback. Even more so that you fixed that pesky model issue. :)
Kagekaze  [author] Jun 5, 2018 @ 6:00pm
Thanks for looking into that, I'd been thinking of trying to hunt down where on the image that was coming from but it was going to take me way too long with my limited knowledge / resources. The models came from this mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=891993501 so he might be interested in your fix if you wanted to share.

Since you seem knowledgeable in these things, maybe you can look into the other issue I asked him about: getting the bases to be the only part of the model that tint rather than the whole thing. This would really help the Rising Sun mod.

Here's info I posted to him, but I don't know if he ever really looked at:

"I found a better document for the process that explicity states how to do the tint thing in blender... Page 44 of this:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JSZALjgiUUOm9xfluokrTiAipGMsT12Vpyzy11WCL2E
"
Phen Jun 5, 2018 @ 3:39pm
I've made a new model that is compatible with your textures. Bugged line on the side is fixed as well as "mirrored text" on the opposite side of figurine.

Just replace mesh with: http://cloud-3.steamusercontent.com/ugc/928185774024740216/8A52F233EA9DCABD059FBFF7E90C022EF8D145EE/

(your Rising Sun mod has the same issue btw)
Phen Jun 5, 2018 @ 2:52pm
The model you use for figurines has incorrect UV-wrapping and there is 1px vertical line with the color of base side on every figurine.
Kagekaze  [author] May 29, 2018 @ 10:11pm
Majority of scanning is complete... really didn't expect to take so long to get this mod in working order, but personal issues have really been limiting.

I'm going to work on re-uploading all the assets left for the base game. the only things left to scan are character dashboards and then the overlay tiles to see if I can make them look nicer. I've already started to get most of the 'figurines' in so the game is pretty close to being 'releasable'. maybe I'll re-release when the base game content is done and start adding in more as I go.
Kagekaze  [author] May 23, 2018 @ 9:22am
Got some early figurines in. Going with similar color scheme to the physical version with minions having a yellow base. The Agents have a burlap version (like on the scenario book) to make them easier to distinguish, but still have a yellow boarder on the edge. Allies will be blue with gents having color to match their class.
Kagekaze  [author] May 21, 2018 @ 11:35am
New higher resolution Nemesis dash boards uploaded. Working on two separate computers is making color correction a bit tricky as the computer I edit on seems to be a bit darker than what I see at home. If the new dashes don't look right I'll go through and try to color adjust a bit more.. it'll just take time since I'll have to do it manually to each individual card where originally I used the full set of card scans.
Kagekaze  [author] May 17, 2018 @ 9:11am
I like that the 70% reduces some of the obvious noise from the scan, but I don't think I like that it blurs the text. It's not very obvious on the last batch of cards I put in, but I just imported and Chaos and Torment cards and I think the blur gets pretty obvious. :( Opinions welcome of course
Phen May 10, 2018 @ 1:55pm
70% NEW are the best variant. Difference between OLD and NEW is massive (improvement) while 70% and 100% is so subtle that I had to pixel hunt.
Kagekaze  [author] May 10, 2018 @ 9:36am
New cards available. Compare OLD version of ally, roles, and both activation types to the NEW scans. 2 versions, one meant to save memory (70% size) and the full sized.
Phen Apr 28, 2018 @ 12:55am
Rulebook has great quality (I guess that's because it was made from source PDF). Campaign book is good and totally readable. Checked all pages, seems fine.
Kagekaze  [author] Apr 26, 2018 @ 8:45am
Map tiles + Campaign book in. Want to make sure the rulebook and campaign book are fully readable (looks good on my end)
Kagekaze  [author] Apr 24, 2018 @ 12:12am
Added rulebook and FAQ/Errata. It might take some time to eventually get the campaign book added since there's no PDF.
Kagekaze  [author] Apr 23, 2018 @ 11:29pm
Added a tabletop from some slightly edited stock imagry found online. wanted something not too intrusive.. have a look, see if that or the alt version floating nearby is preferable.
Kagekaze  [author] Apr 23, 2018 @ 5:00am
Increased the size of all map and overlay tiles, this should be the final size. Big enough so that a map of 3 tiles in height can fit. everything else needs to be sized according to relative size.

The maps are... rough. I attempted to save money by getting pictures of them instead of scanning, but there was a perspective angle I had to correct on all of them so far. I means they may not look the best, but it's what I've got for now.
Phen Apr 12, 2018 @ 6:53am
600 DPI on Nemesis is HUGE improvement. You got rid of cardboard texture (grid of white dots) almost completely.
It would totaly worth rescan if you have time for this.
Kagekaze  [author] Apr 12, 2018 @ 6:47am
And I agree with you about kickstarter exclusive content that affects gameplay. Cosmetic stuff like alternate scuplts are fine, but whole missions and bonus features are terrible.
Kagekaze  [author] Apr 12, 2018 @ 6:46am
No expansion content has been added yet (minus map overlays since I just combined them all into one box). I have everything it just needs to get scanned in. I want to get things working and feeling right before I start adding on top of it.
Phen Apr 12, 2018 @ 6:45am
btw it seems you don't have Embassy expansion? I think it was like $10 extra on KS but there is no way to get it anymore... I just hate those exclusive stuff, it makes impossible to get complete editions if you missed KS campaign.
Phen Apr 12, 2018 @ 6:22am
Also worth mention that CMON are going to release reprinted cards with corrected text.

You can find print-ready cards here:

I will prepare tileset for you, not a problem. I just made Photoshop action to make 20+ adjustements in one click. Game looks very cool and I love this genre (Descent, Gloomhaven, Zombicide).
