Hey there fantastic mod idea here, really inspiring actually! Do I have permission to use this mod in my collection and merged mod/patch? I'm just doing some minor changes to the categorisation, research, inputs/outputs, icons, etc just to make it play better w/ Interactive World. Might do some basic modelling/material work as well.

Probably some incompatibility with some other mod, which shouldn't be the case as the mod just adds stuff. Also still working fine for me.

Any other mods that work great with this? I'm doing a tribal start from nothing playthrough with no buying anything and interactive world works amazing with this

Great mod, just wanna ask if you could ad building that can produce iron sticks from iron plates i think that would at more flexibility, for example if someone wanna make challenge where you can only equip items you made yourself. (ps. sr if my english is bad its not my native leanguage)

I love this mod.

I noticed today that the bloomery recipe seems to be 1:1 not 5 iron into 1 plate.

I was trying to do an "ironman mode" and ran around for 2 and a half hours as a skeleton, couldn't find one building material. I realized I could have looted iron plates and raw stone and built a research bench it 6 times over, but no materials.

Great mod, well done.

I have a request - can you also consider a building material crafting bench that is a camping (non outpost) item? Make it half as efficient as a manual building material machine. That's so I can set up a little mining + manual building spot that doesn't start an outpost. Lots of little outposts causes weirdness in the game (holy crusades against my 3 mining dudes, or taxmen runing around that are hard to find)

Secondly, your crude smelter should be called a "bloomery" - and produce lots of nasty smoke when it is running. That's how medieval iron was smelted, by being stacked up and heated so the iron ran out the bottom.

Do this and then you wont even need to research anything to truly start a base from scratch

TO THE AUTHER there is a research item called DEFAULT START RESEARCH if you add that as well along with any new research item, then it will not overwrite all the buildings that are avaible in the start,, you mod makes sense to be available from the start, so you can also simply add it to the default start research item, and it will become available in all game starts

Thanks Billy, just found out adding it as start tech somehow overwrites all the other buildable things.
So the tech is removed from start, but can be research at level 1 for free within one hour.

Played with it a little while, I noticed it gets rid of campfire and camp bed knowledge, maybe fix that if you can since it sucks working in complete darkness.
