If only the energy pellet would have work all would have been right with the world but alas, it was not to be.
I think I know what I can do without redesigning this entire room.
The second room originally had a high energy pellet puzzle but it didn't work for everyone so I had to change it... quickly. To make the cubes visible would mean redesigning the entire room and I didn't have time for that so it stands as it is now. I assumed that if the player wanted to know what was on that wall they could fire a portal in that corner and simply look through the portal to see the cube. Now that I'm thinking about it, I could add glass walls if you think that would be better.
If you look carefully at the lights on the celing, they are not the same color. Most are soft white (tinge of pink) while a few are bright white. If you look at the lights above the buttons they'll tell you where the particular gel should be go on the floor.
