Hello. Skins had to be added to the map during map's creation in Unity. This was a limitation... 6 years ago. I've never spent time to release these as separate mod, so I don't think you can find them in the workshop currently.

I've looked it up. Maybe when I have more spare time. Also, this is version is not developed anymore. If any changes will happen, it will be on Revamped.

You should take a look at the map "Bazaar" in PF (Phantom Forces - Roblox) it's the Dust 2 map, but significantly expanded upon. I think it'd to well in Ravenfield. :)

Good idea. I used new dust 2 as an example and there CT doesn't have desert camo, but I'll thing about it.

Found two bugs. Dunno if there is something you can do, but I have some pictures to explain with if needbe. There is one of the small rooms that the bots can walk through the back wall of the room and escape the map, (which they are always trying to do for some reason) and you can be shot into the tiny space between the pillar and crate in the back of the temple and have to suicide to get out. Very good map though. OH btw: I was on the "Experimental" version. Dunno if that matters.

It would be interesting to see those small rooms everywhere used more for spawns, secrets and other cool tidbits. Thanks for the already very nice map.

Yes, that's one problem that small maps have. But if I make one spawn point per CP, I'm risking CP's to be easily taken, because all soldiers spawing in the same spot are stupidly easy target to destroy.

a little bit less spawns cause every where you go there are new spawns. and spawn camping is realy easy further this map is great

Nice Dust2 remake, if only there was a gameplay mode like CS' Destroy mode or hell, even like CoD's Search and Destroy mode, this map would be perfect for either.

There were a lot of basic shapes on top of each other at the start, then I joined them in more complex shapes, removed surplus of vertices (by removing doubles and minimizing number of vertices that makes meshes). Sometimes I duplicated vertices, edges and faces.

If I remember correctly, there were 20-30% less vertices in the end, compared to the time I started polishing the map.

However that didn't work with weapon mod - model has 2+ times more vertices that standard AK.

Are all of the models (buildings and whatnot) just solid shapes stacked on top of each other or are they build from subdivides/extrude?

In regards of reporting: my item do not violate any workshop rules, so there's no way it will be removed:
* It does not include any harmful content to any individual and/or group.
* Every object in the map is done by me - no stolen content from RF and other creators from different platforms.
* I do not consider myself original creator of the idea (in this case, it's de_dust2).

So, let 'em report the map - we will see what will happen (and it will be aboslutely nothing).

I get back to this page from time to time and add something, if I see necessary (that includes description and map itself).

Hey, by "mats only", do you mean that you're only using materials instead of textures? If so that can lead to unoptimized performance. What you should do instead is create a texture which is just a color palette and UV map your map model to the colors. This will dramatically reduce the materials you use and the amount of draw calls the game needs to make, making it run even smoother!
