Thank you for the reminders, and sorry for the delays...
Errr I'll try to remember before the end of week
Errr, are you sure the mod is loaded (check logs)? Are you sure you also installed the HLib dependency?
If nothing goes wrong, I'll push the update on Steam Workshop next week!
Glad that this mod can be of use
By the way, thank you for keeping us updated!
It won't be available today, but I think it'll be pretty quick to change.
I'll check if it isn't too hard to do if I have some time this week-end!
Thank you and Hiran for making this mod exist, it allows you to take construction to the next level! (and it also became a real salvation for me in some architectural problems in this game )
However, I have a question/suggestion: is it technically possible to remove the sound and animation of a blink during a teleport? Perhaps in the form of a switching setting (because other players may need sound and animation).
In my case, I’m building background rooms in my house and when interacting with an ordinary door disguised as a teleporter, this “blink” looks and sounds quite strange.
P.S. Hope you're well Soblow ^^
I wouldn't wanna force you to come back to modding of this honestly quite dead game (if not for FU it'd surely be one), but... I'll try to provide actual feedback and suggestions once I'm done playing with it for long enough. Thank ya!
TBH I've moved from SB modding since some time now, but if someone finds a bug I'd gladly update the mod to fix this.
I don't plan on adding new content to this mod, it works nicely "as-is". But don't hesitate if you have ideas of additions for this mod to share them, either here, on this mod page discussions, or on Discord.
If someone wants to contribute again I can make updates and add their contribution.
Well, glad it's still kicking, just thought maybe you had some more bugs to fix or features to add - but guess not!
It has most if not all the features I planned for it, and works nicely with latest version (and there won't be new game versions so it's not like you need to constantly update the mod to keep it working)
Can you please send me your log files, I can't do anything without these.
And if you want, you can join our discord server, it'll be easier to discuss around your problem
Fixed ;)
just so you know, the word "data" is plural, whereas "datum" would be the singular, so this is incorrect.
My grammatical critique aside (insert joke about grammar Nazis), this looks pretty cool. I might try it sometime, and I'm definitely going to bookmark and favorite it so I can find it later :-)
V3.3 adds lots of fixes, but might also add bugs (even if I tested it). Don't hesitate to report them !
I see you share the same bad habit I do. LOL
Though I lost of bunch of stuff I hadn't pushed out do to a SSD dying without warning, and had to download the (older) workshop versions. Well that's my fault for not backing stuff up, or uploading it at least.
I'm currently working on a tiny update including content I forgot to push here (in fact, 3.2.1 is ready since 07/2019), as well as a few new things.
Don't forget to tell here if you'd like some new features to be added, and to report any bugs you may have encountered (here or on the forums just above)
About the destination chip, there's already the Configurator, a tiny device that lets your create datacards, and alter them, without requiring a warpbook.
(Yeah, I should describe it in a video...).
For the sound, well, I'd need to try, but I'm not sure I'll manage to make it "that" configurable. Maybe it'll be limited to Shapeshifting teleporters
And for the bookmarks view, in that case, what would be the default category ? "All" ?
If you're still planning on adding to the mod:
Idea that come to mind straight away is being able to print a "Destination chip" from an OWT to be inserted directly into the matching door, rather than having to use the warp books destination menu. The menu itself is intuitive as need be, I just know people that'd nope out of it the second they saw that many options: A simpler method as an alternative would help.
Bonus points for a checkbox that stops the teleport animation/sound from that teleport if you're able to easily, additional checkbox that adds a door sound if you want to spoil us (Wooden door would be fine for my means but I'm guessing there'd be people that want metal door and gate sounds too.)
Basically, craft a shapeshifting teleporter (OWT version), and make it take the look of a classic door.
Feel free to tell me if you have any problem with FU :)
The mod isn't dead, but as nobody ask for anything, I consider it as complete, and I'm only doing bugfixes...
AFAIK, it shouldn't break until a major update is released
