@Shidan Found a faction you may have missed, unless this one is suppose to change with a similar faction. Looks like you cannot fix relations with the Tech Traders. Not finding a Pacifier for them anywhere...
Shidan  [author] Mar 25 @ 1:36pm
Should have been in Slave Markets, odd that it's not unless you have a mod conflicting. I did apparently miss Shark though, and nobody has reported it in all these years. So I did a once over on the list and added the pacifier to any missed towns with bars I saw.
Maru Mar 25 @ 12:40pm
@Shidan can you help me out? I have tried Slave Market, Shark, and I can not find the pacifier, I have done several loads and an import.
Shidan  [author] Mar 17 @ 11:20am
Sounds to me like you're using a different, but similar mod. I have no "set to ally" options in my dialog. And Free Traders are in my dialog.

Two big issues I found:
1) The option to set the faction relation to Neutral almost never works, set to Ally works always.
2) Free Traders is missing from the diplomat's list - important faction for when you conquer UC

good, functional mod overall though
Shidan  [author] Mar 11 @ 6:15am
If you mean Drifters, yes. But there is no Wanderers faction in vanilla, and the mod only works for vanilla factions.
xXSlaloNXx Mar 10 @ 10:04pm
There is a peacemaker for the WANDERERS??
Sixro Feb 17 @ 1:16pm
ahhh ok sorry I misunderstood that part. Anyway yesterday I found your amazing guide on how to edit a save and (for example) change the relation to someone and I fixed it manually.
Thanks again 🙏
Shidan  [author] Feb 15 @ 6:41pm
The individual minor factions do not have pacifiers in this mod, there is a global pacifier found in most locations that can act as a pacifier for any vanilla faction.
Sixro Feb 15 @ 1:18pm
I travelled for the entire world and I didn't see any pacifier for Trade Ninja and Mercenary Guild. Is anyone found a similar issue? Thanks
SU1C1D3C0MMAND0 Oct 15, 2024 @ 3:45pm
Ah okay, I'm not sure how to do that though, however thank you.
Shidan  [author] Oct 13, 2024 @ 6:18am
No, only vanilla factions. I can't write dialog for factions that don't exist.

You can always save edit relations for mod factions though.
SU1C1D3C0MMAND0 Oct 13, 2024 @ 1:07am
Will this work with factions from mods as well?
Bare Minimum Bandit Sep 19, 2024 @ 7:46pm
hired bodyguards so i could travel through the foglands. i got greedy and saw 2 princes. so i thought since i have a group of mercenary guild bodyguards that should be easy money. they got their shit handed to them. i got caught looting since 1 of them stood up xD tried many ways to become friendly again but nothing seems to be working hope this mod gonna help me out
JK3 Aug 27, 2024 @ 8:38pm
I gotta ask if you've pretty much made a better pacifier with more pacifier options including the defaults why not just remove the original pacifiers? especially since they are superfluous with this mod
SmokeJense88 Aug 24, 2024 @ 5:37am
it wasn't dust bandits, it was when i hovered over heft on the map showing my standing with the peasants. no other faction number appears there. i reloaded and did it again and it worked so idk either.
Shidan  [author] Aug 23, 2024 @ 9:04pm
Well, don't know what to tell you. Works fine on my end, and there is no way that should be able to happen.

Sure you weren't accidentally reading the wrong number? Dust Bandits are right next to them most of the time, and their default is a -10.
SmokeJense88 Aug 23, 2024 @ 8:24pm
yes and it is the only mod i have. i dont get a plus 100 either it just goes to 0 for the others. peasants was the only that didnt go to 0
Shidan  [author] Aug 23, 2024 @ 7:37pm
I'm not sure how that could even happen short of a mod conflict or some other relation change afterwards. The pacifier works by applying a -200 to relations to bring you to the minimum, then adds a +100. It should not be possible for it to end at a -10 without some other mod or dialog getting involved.

You did do this via the Global Pacifier correct?
SmokeJense88 Aug 23, 2024 @ 4:08pm
i paid 40k for the empire peasants reduction, it was at -25, it brought it to -10 not 0, what gives?
SmokeJense88 Aug 23, 2024 @ 3:37pm
it didnt work
SmokeJense88 Aug 23, 2024 @ 3:35pm
im about to try importing after having picked them all up...
Shidan  [author] Aug 23, 2024 @ 3:31pm
You can't. Importing will always remove prisoners if you have any.

You can either:
1. Leave them imprisoned and import, which will remove them and save them in the "imprisoned state" and stop their world states from flipping back to normal.
2. Free them before importing, which means you need to go get them again.
3. Import without dead NPCs, which will reset all unique characters unless they are in your party.
SmokeJense88 Aug 23, 2024 @ 3:26pm
all the slaver diplomats i had imprisoned disappeared when i did the import to use the pacifier. how do i keep that from happening? they need to stay imprisoned.
m0n May 30, 2024 @ 9:21pm
In the Anti-Slaver town of "Free Settlement" there doesn't appear to be a pacifier
Shidan  [author] Apr 27, 2024 @ 5:45am
They're from a mod, my pacifiers only suppprt vanilla factions. Only way to fix relations would be if their mod has a method, or save editing.
Funky Man Apr 27, 2024 @ 1:02am
Ronins are not found in the list...
Don't know how they ended up in my faction list and what I have done to have -80 relations with them. Maybe they caught in the crossfire somewhere. They do not attack on bars, but I can't talk to them when they are hostile to me.
Shidan  [author] Apr 26, 2024 @ 5:13am
It uses a similar price as vanilla. Not quite as granular, as that is an impossible amount of checks to write, and minor factions have fewer checks than others and so are often more expensive.

It uses a scaling price, so that the lower your relations the higher the price, up to 100K for a full reset.
Pencabut Nyawa Keling Apr 25, 2024 @ 11:23pm
just a quick question, this mod pacifiers reset the relationship to 0 for free? not for a price? cause i would like it to be for a price so that it dont feel abusive
Shidan  [author] Apr 24, 2024 @ 8:35am
That's not possible. Objects cannot have dialog, only characters.
RsgDragon4 Apr 24, 2024 @ 8:32am
Ive come with a suggestion to you shidan, could you possibly make a buildable object that can do relation stats? Something like that elden ring forgiveness item. Either a hard or easy way to do it would be cool. Again thanks for this mod its a life saver when dealing with the damned bandits half the time.
mug root beer Apr 19, 2024 @ 1:57am
Thanks for making this <3

I accidentally got my relationship with the nomads down to -80 all because I attacked one of their animals, which I thought was wild because it started eating people. I wanted to fix this without exploiting the game. Unfortunately I do not have 100k cats! I think I'm gonna cheat this one time, but will definitely use this in the future if I need it, thanks again.
RsgDragon4 Apr 18, 2024 @ 9:44am
Thanks for the quick response again Ill see if the UCTM author can possibly help if not thanks again.
Shidan  [author] Apr 18, 2024 @ 9:37am
Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do if a mod replaces a vanilla town's residents or triggers an override. You would need to locate a town that has not received any changes in said mods.

Or, you need to look for an alternative method like save editing.

I have just now done a removal of the mod to test if it was that, it appears so as I have just now easily found the global pacifier. Should I leave a comment under the UCTM page to see if they could try a patch for this mod?
RsgDragon4 Apr 18, 2024 @ 9:28am
possible problem with global pacifier, I have recently added the mod Ultimate Cities Towns Merge alongside its patch for Ultimate Wasteland Expanded.

I have only added these mods; after I did an import I have searched over 2 major settlements and all their bars. There has been no global pacifier and its quite annoying, If you have a way for me to spawn the pacifier in thatd be nice.

To add more detail.

I added that mod just to have some more life in my area and after having an annoying faction try and kill me again and again I looked for a pacifier and could not find it in The hub, stack, and any of the bars in nearby settlements that were expanded in the hub.

My apologies for not reading that link fully for some reason I thought it was a direct to the guide and I am actually blind thanks again for the help.
RsgDragon4 Apr 12, 2024 @ 10:38am
If you have a way to find specific NPCs that I may have missed in the guide, if you could point me there thatd be great. Id love to fix the bug causing raids ever 12 days with over 30 farmers pounding for revenge.
RsgDragon4 Apr 12, 2024 @ 10:37am
Thanks for the response and the save edit guide, it was pretty simple.
Ill let you know how it goes with the rebel farmer raids im dealing with, I couldnt find the rebel leader under the farmer platoons, so im probably going to assume its under a different location as I couldnt locate the leader or I am blind, so I just edited relations to a positive. Thanks again for the help though I appreciate that guide
Shidan  [author] Apr 10, 2024 @ 6:09am
My mod has all vanilla factions, regardless of if there is any logical point to "fix" relations with the faction, but it's not possible to set up a pacifier for mod factions like that without making a compatibility patch for said mod.

You are correct that is not the correct place to edit the relations. You need to go to the dialog, like I mentioned before. Dialogue Package->Dialogue->Global Pacifier has what you need. From there you can edit the conditions and effects, or add new branches if you wish to add new factions.

If you wish to reset dead NPCs, I would suggest you simply import and uncheck the "Import Dead NPCs" options. But it is possible to save edit the status of individual NPCs, I highly suggest not doing this though if you don't know what you're doing.

I am also curious if you could tell me how to override the faction leader death so I can reset my standing.
I am using UWE and apparently the rebel farmers love to raid you because you supposedly killed their leader and some others do that but I have forgotten who, if you could tell me how I can deal with that, thatd be great.
RsgDragon4 Apr 10, 2024 @ 2:03am
I went into the faction section on game world and edited default relation, I feel that this is not where I am supposed to edit, could you point me to the correct area to edit values, thanks.
RsgDragon4 Apr 9, 2024 @ 11:52pm
Thanks for the advice to editing all the values, I have one more question related to factions you didnt add or the mod just wont edit for some reason.

Should or do I need to add factions (Hill Marauders) as they wont show up Misc, hostile, and minor factions?
Or is this behaviour just different and a mistake on part of something not being picked up.
You also said a pacifier wasnt required for the krals chosen but it has showed up in the global, is there a check for a file for factions specifically that just adds all factions? Im just trying to understand the way this works so I can see if theres a conflict of sorts.
Thanks for those other responses though.
Shidan  [author] Apr 8, 2024 @ 8:18pm
Getting positive relations is done pretty much the same way, same dialog that handles the prices does the relations. I use a -200 and then a +100 to zero out the relations, but there is no reason it has to be that way, simply change the relation numbers to whatever you want.
Shidan  [author] Apr 8, 2024 @ 8:16pm
You don't need to edit the level data, has nothing to do with the prices. Though that file can be edited with the FCS.

To edit prices you need to open the mod in the FCS. To do so, copy the mod's folder over to your "mods" folder found in the kenshi folder. Then rename it to match the mod file inside. Now you can edit the mod however you want for personal use. To edit prices you'd need to edit the dialog itself.
RsgDragon4 Apr 8, 2024 @ 8:15pm
Is there also possibly way to make the pacifiers put me in positive numbers instead of just 0 when editing? Or is there a mod you can direct me to that has positive gain pacifiers.
Thanks
RsgDragon4 Apr 8, 2024 @ 8:05pm
Is there a way for me to possibly adjust the prices? ive looked in the workshop file under (workshop\content\233860\1267224713) and I cant exactly edit the level file.
The help would be appreciated
RsgDragon4 Apr 8, 2024 @ 5:49am
For anyone who sees this, please go over major mods that "overrides" settlements or anything in your mods list when booting and see if your load order is messed up because of it. I have just now figured out my load order was messed up and troubleshooted that luckily before commenting. Check if your major mod also has compatibility patches for other mods you may use and order it accordingly.

For me my problem was UWE, the mod maker says to put it at the bottom of the load order so make sure to do that alongside its patches below it.

Make sure to save config (i think that locks it in place)
Dosboy Mar 25, 2024 @ 2:06pm
No other mods that add/change town overrides now and did add the patch. I did have "Take over the world" which had town overrides, but removed it and did an import. Maybe that's the problem and my next game I'll not have that mod in. Seems an import should have fixed it. Sadly, already on my 5th import. Thanks for your response!
Shidan  [author] Mar 25, 2024 @ 11:24am
As mentioned below, did you import? It won't add them to existing towns unless you do.

Otherwise, make sure you don't have any other mods replacing towns. The mod can only add them to towns that exist in vanilla, mods that add overrides like Reactive World can screw that up since it switches the town entry out. The patch in the descriptions should fix it for RW's overrides, but it won't work for any other mod's.
