Crimson Court has a weird file layout compared to other DLCs or the base game.
Flagellent isn't found in dlc\crimson_court/heroes
It's in dlc\580100_crimson_court\features\flagellant\heroes
this version changes the flagellant class which is part of the crimson court dlc. no has cc? game goes borked. author never changed the description to address this.
I keep getting Errors and it crashes my game.
I got a little curious why it did not fully work and tried messing around with the files a little to see if I could find anything.
I got the Leper to work after I manually installed the mod, so I checked the modfiles.txt and could not find him mentioned in the paths there. I think that is why he is not working.
I also compared your shieldbreaker files with another mod editing that hero and after rearranging the files to match that mod, it also worked.
First move shieldbreaker.effects.darkest into the powerful heroes/effects folder and then move shieldbreaker.info.darkest into powerful heroes/heroes/shieldbreaker.
I also opened shieldbreaker.info.darkest and edited in: crit: .effects "on_crit_prot" on the second line which was missing.
Please..
then again, that's why you have the vanilla version of the mod in the workshop lol
First, I did what Sob said and cleared out all unnecessary versions of flagellant and shieldbreaker.
Then I had to add-
heroes/shieldbreaker/shieldbreaker.info.darkest 8680
heroes/leper/leper.info.darkest 8785
-to the modfiles.txt. as leper was indeed missing. No other changes to modfiles were made, despite all the unnecessary lines for flag/shield. Since I haven't modded anything in this game prior, I just assume the numbers are important despite not seeing what they reference. 8680 was from other shieldbreaker lines, and the 8785 was from another leper modifying mod.
I didn't actually start a mission and attack something, as it's very late, but I did check the info panel and the tooltips reflected changes I made to all 3 classes (And some other minor changes to others). So I assume it's working.

Here is the correct path to make the dlc classes work, if needed:
\heroes\flagellant\flagellant.info.darkest
\heroes\shieldbreaker\shieldbreaker.info.darkest
\dlc\580100_crimson_court\features\flagellant\effects\flagellant.effects.darkest
\dlc\702540_shieldbreaker\effects\shieldbreaker.effects.darkest
