Will provinces this mod get updated in the future? Because it uses a old province setup in some places, such as Italy and Brtain, which makes the mod unbalanced.

So I know that Hellenism being pre-reformed is a design choice because having it unreformed "wouldn't make sense" as it was explained somewhere deep in these comments, but is there any chance the decision could be more clearly explained?

It just kind of baffles me. The pagan reformation mechanic in vanilla is there because the pagan religions are weak and on the decline, so they can be reformed to better defend against the major religions. If this mod were set at the height of Hellenism, I would totally understand making it pre-reformed. But it's not. Hellenism is very much on the decline in this mod, and the Roman Empire hasn't had a Hellenic emperor in over 200 years. And yet Germanic Paganism is still a reformable religion, despite being one of the largest and most significant religions on the map.

It just strikes me as a somewhat illogical and arbitrary game design choice, so I'm really curious if there's substance to the decision that I'm missing.

It's not abandoned. We have made quite a lot of fixes and such, but Loup is not ready to post another version til certain things get done. We are thinking about putting out a release though in the future, containing these fixes.
Busson Jun 14 @ 7:14am
Thats such a pity thats its abandoned, new Crusader Kings map from last updates could really give the mod second life

Does Theodoric have any events that grant him a claim on Italy?

Question. I've noticed that Jewish characters have a -10 to general opinion because they are Jewish. However I don't think a Jewish person should take a -10 from other Jewish characters. How would I change that for personal use in this mod?

@TheShooterGlider If it works like vanilla you need to have the heresy in more counties than the religion it's an heresy from.
TheShooterGlider Feb 16 @ 5:31am
How do I make arianism no longer a heresy?
Perturabo did nothing wrong Jan 28 @ 3:55am
Hello, I have a question to developers about making south of France Manichean in the mod - is there any historical information of Manicheans actually living there during this time period? Or was it added as a replacement for other gnostic religion?

I saw somewhere in the files (?) than a Greek holder of Persian Empire can sorta restore Seleucid Empire. It was called something like "Syrian Empire" or "Asian Empire" or something like that. But how do I get it? Can't form

Demonoclast Dec 18, 2024 @ 7:32pm
No matter which way I install this, and follow tutorials, the start dates before 769 never appear as options.
tsf4  [author] Dec 4, 2024 @ 6:20am
Yes! Very playable. I encourage you to get the Github of the mod, which contains some more bugfixes. I have a 120 ish year save going right now, zero crashes so far.
Arkturius Dec 3, 2024 @ 2:57pm
is this mod still playable?
tsf4  [author] Nov 25, 2024 @ 1:31pm
Go to the Github link, click the green "Code" button, and then download as a zip. Unzip the files once downloaded, and then copy the folder to Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings II\mod\WtWSMS , then make sure to copy the .mod file into the "mod" folder and then edit it with Notepad+, and make sure the path line matches. Mine looks like this for example: path = "mod/WtWSMS/WTWSMS"

Do this for the portrait .mod files too.

Thats why I posted the news of the Git here. Now you all know. Loup just isn't ready to update Steam til certain things get done.

Is the Paradox EU4 Converter Compatible or the Community made one?
tsf4  [author] Aug 3, 2024 @ 12:30pm
Loup is waiting to update, like I said, whenever certain things are finished. Submods cannot be combined because, in the case of portraits for sure, it hinges on if you own that specific dlc or not. I get it, its annoying. But nothing we can really do about it, save a complete redo of the ck2 launcher to enable "mod packs", that sort of thing.
PandaDogxD Aug 2, 2024 @ 2:45pm
such a great idea, please update. and also consider combining all the submods (i don't love clogging up my modlist)
tsf4  [author] Jul 28, 2024 @ 2:20pm
No, it is not. We have been making fixes on Github. We are just not sufficiently ready for another release until Loup is. Github is ready and playable though.

it would be badass if this got resumed, since its a pretty sweet concept and all!.

@Mountain Jew i think it is because the area was baltic before slavic migrations and because at this point in history they had not diverted majorly. when the slavs migrated west the modern poles were formed and the venedi were pushed north into somewhere around prussia, as it is believed that slavs had no maritime terminology at that time although the baltic sea was called the "venedic bay" by Claudius Ptolemy, implying that the slavs had not yet reached the sea which would mean the vistula-veneti were not slavic, but instead baltic as it was also implied that their language was not a form of germanic
