I know the question was asked 5 years ago, but I was wondering about the same thing right now. I was pretty sure that they are not some kind of braille, since braille characters are drawn in 2 x 6 cells of dots, and after digging around a bit more, I found a reddit comment in an Tycho AMA explaining the dots: archived comment [archive.today]. TL;DR: The dot pattern doesn't have hidden meaning that can be decoded, it's just a logo.

i love this wallpaper, but it would be amazing if there was an option to put a clock or the date, or maybe customize the message under the landscape

I wouldn't hold it against you if not but, i'd like another version of this please. I have two monitors but I don't like it split between the two. I have no experience with the wallpaper engine creation kit. All i've been able to do so far is copy the background texture to my other monitor.
